How many pins on a lanyard?

Hi everyone!

I've accumulated my first pins which I really really like. I don't want my pins to get out of hand (I'm a terribly organized person who doesn't like too much clutter...), so I was thinking having a few pins on a lanyard might be very nice and it'd be perfect for maybe ONE DAY going to Disneyland to trade.
Only I'm not sure how many pins do roughly fit on a lanyard? So far I have a few of the puzzle Lion King pins and Japan Princess Shilhouette pins. I want one lanyard filled, but I don't know how many pins I have to buy for this. I don't want to buy a lanyard yet, I want it to be one which I really like (so far I haven't found one yet).
Can anyone help me? I simply have no idea. Is it 10? Or 15? 20? I'm a quite petite woman, so obviously I wouldn't buy any extralarge lanyards.

TIA!

Hello!
It all depends on the pins and the sizes of those pins. I use to be able to fit about 15-20 pins on my standard star wars lanyard I bought from Disneyland. You can also place pins side by side if they sizes are right. Then again, these were hidden mickeys when I first started. The puzzle pieces are a bit larger but still small enough so that you could probably fit the entire set on the lanyard with a few extras.

I'd say as many as your neck can take, it gets heavy wearing pins like the puzzle pieces. Hidden Mickeys are smaller and lighter. I've seen some lately on clothing: vests, hats, one person at Disneyland has a shirt filled with pins front and back, he jingles as he walks by. Lanyards still seem to be the most popular choice of bragging rights for display, especially with the LE pins, i'd say most fit around 20. Hope this helps, have fun!
