I got this today in the mail from markheardjr; the WDI Haunted Mansion Pin Bag!

Now here's a question; as I haven't had one of these before... what's the best way of going about putting the pins in it? It has two types of sleeves, ones with mesh and the others are fabric.

EDIT: Pics of the pins in the bag!

First Page; The Hitchhiking Ghosts.

Second page; The Hitchhikers with other characters and holidays. Also Vinylmation. And my Lonesome Ghosts pin.

Third page; Phantom Manor.

Fourth page is reserved for when I start my Thunder Mountain collection!

Fifth page; other characters I collect.

That's it for now. I know I don't have a big collection yet... but hey its something at least!

I think the HM one has a few more mesh pockets inside than some of the other bags, including the regular Mickey one that I have, so there may be some better thoughts from others but I just pinned the loose pins on both sides of the fabric sleeves and used the mesh pockets to hold the pins that are in bags, on cards, etc.

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure when I'll get pics posted. Hopefully soon. I need to sort out how to display them in the bag first anyhow.

I got this same bag too and thought to myself, "Where are the instructions for this thing?!?!" Hahaha.

Can't wait to see your pics of the finished bag. I think this bag is perfect for all of your Hitching Hking Ghost pins!

Thanks again everyone! It might not be until tomorrow that I get any pics posted of the pins in the bag but hey, maybe I'll manage to get them uploaded today.

If you are planning to use this bag for only your "keeper" pins, you might consider getting some corkboard or plastic foam board to fit inside each fabric page. You can buy the corkboard at Walmart, Michaels, and other craft stores and I think you can get the plastic foam board at Michaels (and maybe Walmart) and definitely at art supply stories. When you cut it down to fit the dimensions of the fabric pages, slip it in between the fabric pages pocket. Then you can push your pins into place without the pin backs. Makes it very nice to arrange and rearrange your pins to your liking! Then you can keep your pin cards in the mesh pockets or elsewhere. Another thing I have done (along with the corkboard), is to put pins (on their cards) in baseball card plastic sleeves and then put those sleeves inside the mesh pockets. One caution is to be careful once you have installed your pins with the corkboard or foam board ... you don't want to leave it unattended (if you take it to a pin meet, etc.) as it can be easier for someone to remove your pins without you knowing! Congrats on the great pin bag! Love it! Looking forward to seeing how you arrange your pins in it! Take care and have fun!! *bjr

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

I LOVE your new pin bag Lady Dobbins

Throughout all my years of pin trading I have seen a lot of people with a lot of different pin bags that I have really liked, but your new Haunted Mansion bag is without question the best and coolest bag that I have ever ever ever seen in my life.

I can't wait to see the pictures of all of your pins all snug and cozy in your their new bag.

Thanks for sharing

Okay added some pics of my pins in the bag.

Also there are six pins in my collection not in the bag; all the pins from this set:

I wasn't too sure about taking them out of the boxed set. You can see what pins it has on my pinpics ID. Do you suggest I keep them in the set?

I do this for my two trading bags. Lets me put in a LOT more traders than I would otherwise. Nothing super valuable though. My better pins are on cards pinned into baseball card holders or photo holders (for the jumbos).

I'd love to have that bag. Just looked on ebay and they are a bit too pricey for me. What a great bag though!

Lady Dobbins, congrats on your new HM pin bag! I have both sizes and LOVE them!! I think you should keep your pins in the boxed set from the 2009 O-Pin House since that acts as a pin holder anyway and makes a nice display!

Thanks! And good idea. Really need to find a nice place to put it on display.

Everything looks amazing! And what a fitting bag for your collection! I love it! And you have so extremely cool pins!!!! Makes me want some of those ones too, lol! I have to stay focused on my collection at hand, ha ha, its not easy though!!!

Thank you! Unfortantly I'm a bit unsure on a few of them; guess I'll just keep a look out for some replacements.

And yeah I know; I've been tempted to collect more things too. But it would just get crazy. o_o I mean I like a lot of different characters from the various movies but I really need to stay focused.

Totally agree with everyone else, keep the HM pins in the box. That way they all stay safe together and don't get mixed up.

Also, OH MY GOODNESS! You collect the Alice Caterpillar! Yay! Another Caterpillar collector! So excited, I haven't seen many collecting him. I'm waiting on my first Caterpillar pin to arrive but I've already got several on my wishlist. Just love him! Glad to see someone else does too
