I traded for a pin at Disneyland. The question I have is that everything looks good but it has a capital p followed by series of 13 numbers. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thank You,
Jessica

As others have said, new pins have a serial number on the back. All of my Valiant and Villainous pins do and I know they all are supposed to have it so that should be a plus that it has that number on the back.

It seems to be some sort of inventory code used by one of the manufacturer's Disney uses. Sometimes the code appears on the backing card and not on the pin itself. There have been some scrappers of pins that have showed up without the number, when pins sold directly from Disney had the number, so the presence of the number on a pin is a good sign.
