I was just finishing sorting my pins out and I came across this on the uk backing card I've just noticed on the backing card on the brother bear pin it now says on the back disney store.com and disney china as well as the normal.co.uk why have they put the American one on the back and also an address in California so does this mean all uk pins come from the California warehouse? The older backing cards only says disney London so does this mean America will get the uk single pins as well? Just thought this was very interesting what do think of this?

I don't want to seem selfish, but I hope America don't get the UK pins! Because it's nice that we get traders and stuff so we can trade for American pins when we don't live near any parks

I totally agree with you they should stay Europe release only it seems a bit weird to me that it's now got an American address on through

It wouldn't be fair to Europeans if we got the same pins here, but I hope that we get some new and different ones on disneystore.com. We used to get some cool stuff but rarely get anything nice and different since the 110 Legacy ended.

It's because the UK store now uses the same distribution company as the US. The two separate companies are slowest becoming one whole company. It's very exciting (from a cast member point of view)

Agreed, doesn't sound selfish at all. It's fun to actually be able to buy a pin that might be popular to trade lol.

But does that mean the Americans will get our pins?

As far as I'm aware it still stands that pin releases are select to there release countries/continents. As for the future I have no idea. But if you think about it, if they get our pins, we will get there's! It will be a shame if this happens but, every cloud has a silver lining! And I just get excited at the prospect of the other products we might start sharing (Adult apparel! Collectables! Home wear!)

I sympathize and completely agree with you that the UK should keep their pins. Even most Americans don't live anywhere near a park. For me to get to Orlando requires driving 19 hours. To get to DLR would be more like 30! For most Americans, our options to get good traders are pretty dismal (which is why I totally understand wanting to hold on to your UK pins and don't think it's selfish at all).

I'm American, and I agree with you completely. I think it makes trading more fun when different locations have different exclusives anyway.
