Hi I started collecting frankenweenie pins when it first came out and there hasn't been any more pins released so I've decided to stop collecting them I was just wondering will these be better to keep as traders or sell if I sold them how much for? them the pins that I've got are the le 300 U.S. disney store bothe sets and couple of the soda fountain ones and the marquee pin and the surprise release one and UK pin opening day one and dlp opening day and open edition pins I am going to start a new collection of the wdi sorcerer hat pins I already have a couple of them should I save these to trade for some of the wdi hat pins? here's a photo of the pins

Always hard to tell anyone what they should do with their collections, but if they rarely/never make Frankenweenie pins, it's a great opportunity to become a completest and then you can frame the entire collection. The wdi hats are fun, but what if they stop making those? Of course, if the Frankenweenie pins don't mean much to you I'm sure you will find people who will love them like Romancing Train's grandmother, so you could be helping people out. I always say to think long and hard before giving up a collection you've worked hard on. Best of luck to you!

This actually makes me a bit sad to read, because I hate to hear that a theme/movie isn't getting new pins anymore. One of my favorite movies is James and the Giant Peach, and they only made 3 pins for that movie. I keep hoping they will surprise us one day with a new pin, but this was years and years ago, so doubtful it will ever happen. Just really stinks for would-be collectors of any particular underused theme. It makes me scared for my other non-classic favorites as well.

I agree with tiggeriffic though - if they've truly stopped making pins for this movie, I would try to complete the collection, possibly frame it! Then I would decide to sell it after!

:)

With the way PTDs have been going, I wouldn't be surprised if more "obscure" characters make appearances! Also, UK and Paris seem to sometimes do different ones sometimes.
