International Pin Shipping

Hi! So it appears I may have a trade with another fellow pin trader located in France! I'd love to immediately agree to the trade, however my problem is I'm not sure what the average cost is to ship internationally is (especially when I'm a little stripped for cash). I've never shipped anything internationally before, so I'm a bit confused to how I need to calculate the entire cost for one pin. Thank you so much if you can help me out a bit!!

the usps.com website has a postage calculator - looks like $3.78 for a 2oz package going to France. You might get away with envelope + non machine charge $2.12 (2oz)
