Paypal is driving me batty. Did you know they do not offer first class international?????? The only international option they give for shipping costs $35.00 for a 2oz package!!! OMGosh! So, to ship my international trades and purchases i need to go to a local post office. Well, my closest one (walking distance actually) has minimal hours, is run by 1 guy, and he tends to be a bit um... bad. He has messed up a couple times on me and so I try valiantly to go to the bigger location a few miles away.

i think what bugs me the most is that if someone on ebay buys from me, paypal and ebay do the international first class without any problem. WTHeck????

Does ANYONE know the process for shipping something international without it costing an arm and a leg? Does USPS.com do it? any other carriers????

I am not sure how to get it done cheap, but I am equally as annoyed that paypal does not offer this service!!! I found this out a few weeks ago!

Odd. My friend in the US now also uses the paypal shipping labels, and 3 times already she send me a package using first class mail.

Can you inquire with her how she is doing it????

when I put in country the item is going to, it switches to 2 options. and both options when done by wt are at least $35.00...

I have not tried a flat rate package... is she sending you flat rate boxes?

You can print first class international postage on the USPS website. I've done it a couple of times without any problems. It is annoying that paypal doesn't offer the option under the regular 'ship now' form. :x

I've asked my friend how she does this, and this is what she said:

You have to have an account of the U.S. Postal Website
You do it all through there, and it it’s time to pay, you can use Paypal, or a credit card

I know this happen to me too. For international shipping what I do now is go to a bigger post office and grab about 20 custom forms. You fill those out as directed and shipping should go as followed ( these prices are countries I've shipped to recently):
Germany- $6.50
Belgium- $6.50
Hong Kong-$8.00
France- $6.20

As for printing online I don't know any info on that, but I would love to know if someone shares a method on how to do so.

I don't understand how someone managed to ship me 2 pins, in a reguler envelope, pins in bubble wrap, for only 2,90 $ (US to Belgium).

I think I posted how you could do that in my post above yours? That's the way my friend from the US does it when she ships to me.
