GenEaration D was last year, I am assuming Kiragigi meant the Pixar 30th event.

I desperately want to go, but can't afford to after my trip there in April. I'm hoping that I can go to next year's event, if the theme is something I'm interested in.

Yes, the name of the pin event changes every year even though it's held approximately the same time in the same location. I won't be going (I might consider next year, if the theme is of more interest to me), but I know quite a few of our members are - and it would be a great time to wear your new buttons made by docfish2u (shameless plug for those amazing badges) as a way to identify yourselves as forum members, especially if you're looking to meet people for the first time.
