I can't remember the last time that they released a LE set of 100/125/135? It's been quite a dry spell I think.

As a side light, the last entry on ODPT.com was June 20th, over two weeks ago.

Communications and product release has got to get better. Hopefully they will still have the semi-annual Pin Sale in late July/early August and release some stuff (if available) that we haven't seen for some time.

It would be great if they communicate with their customers regarding the future pin releases and what plans that they have to further the hobby.

Hi,
According to our sneak peeks here on the forum, there is a D23 Train set listed as going to be released eventually.

I don't get what has stopped the sets and regular releases like they used to have, and wonder if we will ever go back to that again.:(

I think it's a vicious cycle - the pin quality (or maybe a better way to say it is the pin originality) has not been as good as it was in the past, so they don't sell, so then Disney cuts back on their releases. Either they haven't seriously considered this and compensated, or they just don't have the talent pool anymore to produce truly unique & interesting pins. I do believe the 110th Legacy series is a step in the right direction, but they still lack the "wow" factor of older pins & the price increase is a turn off. I'm concerned they'll miss the boat on this & continue to wind down their releases until people lose interest. That would be a shame as there are many of us who love this hobby & want it to keep going! Get your act together Disney!

i saw somebody post before said that disney stopped the collections while their doing the legacy collection after its done theyre going to start doing sets again, i sure hope they do

Grrr, DS.com played me. I thought a new pin set released this week cause I see a Card Game Pin Set on there right now but after looking at PinPics, it was released in August 2010!! I got excited over nothing.

Its gone now but I saw it last night after I clicked on "Pins" under the Pins, Art & Collectibles tab. Looks like the website was acting up last night.
