Is it a counterfeit?

I have this pin and I don't know if it's a counterfeit. I'm hoping that someone here has one that is known to be genuine.

The Pinpics description said that it was made on special black metal. Many of the others in this set were also made with coloured metals, so I assumed that mine, which is silver metal, is a counterfeit.

I added a comment to Pinpics today, saying that I have a scrapper (I should have said counterfeit) made on silver metal which is slightly darker than most pins, but which is nowhere near black. My comment was removed and the description was changed to dark silver/black metal.

It may be that someone at Pinpics is familiar with this pin and the new description is more accurate, but I don't know for sure.

So do I have a counterfeit?

Whoever altered the description, must be frequenting PT and maybe they would be able to give you an answer.

pictures of the back and closeups of the edges would be useful, often those are more telling than the front.

If the Description says black or dark metal, it is safe to say it is likely (not 100%) to be a counterfeit or perhaps a scrapper?

Usually though, there will be other tell tale signs for that, off color, wrong size, lighter Weight, paint dips, low gloss, streaking... etc.
