I've tried going on disney pin forum on my iPad and when I press to hold on any thing on the site I just constantly being redirected to lemode website it's happend to me and is still doing this and some one else on pin trading data base is there any one else on here having this problem? As well?

Yes, there is a bad ad that is showing up in the Google ads. I read the DIS Boards, and yesterday, it was really bad on that site, with the site forwarding. But it isn't a problem with your computer, but Google ads.

I'm also getting ads that pop up as entire pages. Mostly for weight-loss or other psuedosciense scams. It's happening on both here and on pin pics for me, and I just cleared my history/cookies. :/ Hopefully that will help. Sadly, if it is google ads, there might not be much we can do to my knowledge.

I am also getting redirected to ad sites tonight when using my computer... was on browsing earlier on my iPhone and it worked fine. Very odd, maybe can report ad to google somehow if it is a google ad issue.

Can the mods please give us answer of how to sort this problem out and recommend a solution or what is causing this problem? As there seems to be a lot of people that is having this problem

I have an ad block on my computer and I still get them when I am on my computer. Glad to know it is not just my computer since I ran a scan and found no viruses.

Phew, glad to hear it is not just me. It kept happening whenever I tried to go to a new bit of the forum. I closed the tab and opened a new one which seems to have worked for now, but it was very annoying and made browsing threads impossible! I hope it gets sorted soon, Google ads should do something about it really, if the problem lies with them.

It's happening on bothe of mine now on chrome and ipad well we don't know its Google as the mods hasn't given us any answers or told us what the problem is are you out there mods????

I don't think you can do ad lock on iPads

Didn't catch that you were viewing on an iPad... So, a couple of questions:
Are you using Safari? (You said you switched to Chrome, so I'm assuming on the iPad).
Does the iPad show the desktop site, or the mobile site? If you switch to desktop, does the problem go away?

You can add Adblock if you jailbreak your device. Recommended for anyone that doesn't have an unlimited data plan (remember, you have to _pay_ for the data required to download the ads you see everywhere else, including the ones in apps).

If you don't want to jailbreak, try the browser called Mercury. It has an adblocker built in, it will make your life browsing the web a lot nicer.

Any of these will also prevent those ads that occasionally kick you to the Apple Store while trying to read a webpage (A function that can be completely disabled on a jailbroken device I think).

On the computer side, Adblock is just a necessary anti-virus tool. Ad networks are notorious for shady people getting virus code to be executed on thousands of computers... (Google is probably safer than most, but there's a lot of other ad services that don't police the code supplied by 'advertisers' very well...)

I've never seen the problem myself (is it happening to anyone on Firefox with Adblocker installed?), what is it doing exactly? It's possible it's a virus on the forum software sever that injects code into the forum software to change it's behavior... That seems to happen with vBulletin and IPBoard a lot. Usually not harmful to the end users, just annoying.

It has something to do with adwynne.com. Someone on the DIS said this, but I'm not clued in to know what it all means

Yep it is adwynne.com. You can test this by enabling (Ad review center) on your adsense account. The ad review center lets you see all of the ads that are being displayed on your site. If you set a filter to display adwynne.com ads, you will display those ads for a moment, and then you will be redirected (from your adsense account!) to the lemode-mgz website. So, click on Advertiser URLs, and enter adwynne.com into the blocked category. There may be other ads that are doing the same thing. In order to find those, just page through your ads until you get a redirect. Take note of the page number. Then go to that page again, but quickly press print screen before getting redirected. Open Paint, Photoshop, or some other service to look at the image. You will see 21 ads that are displayed on that page. You can then systematically set a filter in the ad review center to look at each individual ad. Eventually, one of your filters will result in a redirect, which means you have found the culprit. Ad the website to your block list, then let the rest of us know what the website is so we can do the same thing!

The DISboards admins posted a link to discussion on Google's forums here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/adsense/szfNNkPrkLI

I thought I was getting the ads, even with AdBlocker turned on. But then I remembered, I had to reset my Chrome and didn't turn my extensions back on. Now that I've done that I haven't had any problems. Thankfully.

Huh, okay, last night I was browsing the forum on my phone and suddenly kept getting redirected to some ad on another website. It wasn't even opening a new window/tab, it was flat out redirecting my current window. Back peddling just made it repeat, so I had to close out and start a new session. Haven't had a problem since then though. Really weird as that's the first that I've seen it happening, and I'm on DPF on my phone a few hours each evening while watching TV.

EDIT: I read the above post after the fact. Makes sense, but seems like something that should be taken out of the ad circulation on the site itself rather than blocked by everyone individually. I understand that's likely not possible, however.
