Imo, the person who is trading away has an advantage. Their $$ values are almost 1:2 with Tangled BT being higher.

It really depends on how you value the pins, but If I had the Tangled BT, I would not make that trade.

How long have you been looking for the Ariel Stitch without success, and how badly do you want it? That's more how I judge things. LE size, price...those are equitable. Even T/W is equitable. The "available pins per person wanting" is actually in the Ariel's favor. I don't know where things would be if Pinpics dropped the "inactive" traders/wants. Where the gap probably is, is Ebay prices. Tangled is $250, at a LE250, I doubt the Ariel Stitch is that high.

This is where I wouldn't necessarily need to squeeze every last drop of value out of the Tangled pin. If Ariel doesn't show up much, than is getting every last drop worth the trade off of possibly not being able to find another Ariel. Don't know what it cost your for the Tangled pin, and how that compares to the going rate for Ariel. Ah, I see one is up for $80 opening bid. So third option, buy pin, sell Tangled to cover pin costs, with money leftover to buy something else too.

I think it really comes down to how badly you want the Stitch Ariel pin? In terms of T/W I would say they are fairly equal (in terms of ratio, the Stitch pin is higher but the Tangled pin has more Wants in the end). However, in terms of price the Stitch pin is far below the Tangled pin. The Stitch Ariel pin is currently up on Ebay for $80, no bids yet. It's fairly new, but unless it goes up to $200, it doesn't even get close to the Tangled BT's worth.

It's really down to a matter though of how much you want the Stitch Ariel pin, if trading for it is impossible (since nobody ever responds) then this might not be so bad ^_^

I agree with hopemax. Though the current $ value of the Tangled is still higher, it has dropped significantly from its high and may continue to return to reality, so there is always a possibility that the other may decide that it isn't worth it on their part as the Ariel/Stitch is a much older pin and thus even less available as it is not being hoarded by those seeking $ over pins. The LE size favors the Ariel/Stitch (250 to 300) but the demand is higher for the Tangled. We have seen a dramatic interest in Rapunzel since her debut but it will be a few year before determining whether she will continue to maintain that popularity while Ariel has shown to be a consistently in-demand character. All in all, it is up to you and whether you want the Ariel?Stitch or want to sit on the Tangled for something better. There is always the possibility of asking the other person if they would throw in something extra, but I'm guessing that's already been done and denied. If you decided you're happy with making the deal, that is all that counts, so make sure you're happy then don't look back.

It's my Bt, I'm just a little worried about the value of the Ariel
one. It's a pin I want but I'm wondering if the Bt could help me get a pin that interests me more. So, I think I'll hold on and wait for a pin that makes my heart skip a beat, lol.

Yeah, much as I love Stitch (and even Ariel), that pin just doesn't have a going price anywhere near what the Tangled BT pin has. Don't make that trade.

If your just going by trades/wants value, then yes. But it really depends on how much YOU value the pin that your trading compared to the one that you would be receiving. Thats how I look at the values when I trade at least.
