Hi sorry if this in the wrong section...

I'm new to pins and I have te chance to get two of the Let It Snow DLRP pins- the Elsa singing and the Locket pin, fr $110usd shipped. Well that seems a lot of money just for pins BUT I know people have to attend the lunch to get these plus they're LE....

So.... do you think this is a good deal?(I don't have anything to trade that anyone with these pins wants...)

They're the bottom two left pins on the link. LE700. Seems like others want $700-750 for whole set which makes the pins around $60ish each... so this does seem good on paper

These pins SHOULD go down like the Tangled set (which got scrapped), especially since they are LE700 (which means that they get two of those pins)
 
Sorry what do you mean by they get 2 pins?

If they do come down that's great but the last Frozen pins from DLP don't seem to have come down a whole lot- macarons still sitting around 45 or so....

What she means by 2 pins is that each person could buy 2 each of those pins as apposed to a smaller LE # that they only allowed people to buy one per person.

Hnnnh dilemma on one hand I don't want to encourage selling over trading on the other no one wants to trade with me. Thought I had one in the bag for a Tarzan pin even LEs didn't cut it :/
 
It don't think it is a bad deal. I have seen prices higher that did sell. Though the price will decrease some after some time.
It just depends on how long you are willing to wait :D
 
the pin's are rumored to be gorgeous this time. (Not like the rapunzel event christmas ) the locket is supposed to be ultra cute inside. The locket may cost a lot to buy after the event , because if the cm are rights , it will be a most wanted pin's.

The last batch of dlp frozen pin's, the ptn, the winter pin's , the dreams pin's don't go down as much as some people hope. You can wait and see at your risk.
 
I pre-ordered all the le700 pins . It completely exceeded my budget. But they look so pretty. :D:D:D
I'm hoping that they Look even better than I expect. That way I won't feel that 'guilty'. Haha.

They actually have come down quite a bit when they started out at $80-100 for the Frozen ones and $50-70 for the others (the others are down to $30-50, depending on character).

Life's a gamble. :) Right now, the whole set of 10 (including the vinylmation and the jumbo) are going for $500-600 pre-sale. They could go up, they could go down. Ultimately, it will be how many people bought tickets who are sellers (that need to clear out their inventory) versus how many people bought tickets that are going to keep the pins.
 
Hmmmm. All good points. My feeling is these ones might be more popular than the 'tea time' set... especially the ones with the Queen, and the locket... I just wish they'd give photos of pins and not art, would make the decision much easier!

I do have a bit ofmoney to splash out on a Christmas gift for myself.... if they do come down a lot, it'd suck- but I guess not as much as if I wait and they *don't* drop but go up....

I think they'll look great! Especially if you see how the Olaf they released earlier turned out. I can't wait to see photos of friends who are going.
 
Update: I just saw the images of the pins on facebook. I think it is a good price. (I did say that before) but the locket looks wonderful ! way better then I imagined. with a faux stained glass element. #loveit :D:D:D

Oh yeah! I jussssst saw pics and the locket is beautiful! The Elsa is a little bit less than I imagined, but still pretty. I wish her dress had been glitter but I guess it's still nice to have, and may get me a grail later on if I wait to trade it.

I like that they put a pin of the King giving Elsa the gloves...

'l definitely buy the locket
