Hey all,

I was recently offered this pin (via pin pics):

Pin 79706: DEC - Chip and Dale with Clarice

For my DSF PTD white rabbit.

My question(s) are: is 79706 a legit pin? On pin pics it says LE 200, and I'm scared of scrappers/counterfeits bc I know they often have strange edition sizes.
Next, is this pin counterfeited alot?
I haven't heard of an LE 200 before (but then again I just started to become more familiarized with lower LE sizes). And finally: opinions on this trade? I love this pin bc I love the short "Two Chips and a Miss," but this trade feels kinda lopsided...? Or maybe I'm just being paranoid haha.

I am not familiar with this pin at all as I do not collect C&D. But some WDI pins indeed are LE200. The sorcerer hats come to my mind right off of the bat.

My guess is that if this pin was a scrapper, there would be a lot more people trading them. You are most likely okay on this one.
 
Oh wow I did not know this for WDI pins, good to know!!

According to pin pics it says the Chip and Dale pin is from Walt Disney Studios Burbank... is that WDI??

Actually, WDS Burbank and WDI are different places. WDI is Imagineering; the people who design the parks & resorts. WDS Burbank is the place where they make live action movies, television and where the bigwigs of the company have their offices. Both locations have their own stores. And for awhile Burbank had a satellite location that was open to the public (which is where this pin was released). But they closed that location maybe about 2 years ago.

But that edition size is common for the smaller, internal pin selling locations. Cast stores at DL and WDW sell pins with higher edition sizes, but they also have a lot more on-site employees, who are also pin collectors.

This is not a WDI pin this is a Disney Employ Center pin from the Burbank studios WDI pins cone from Mickey's of Glendale. 200 is a vary common le for DEC I collected DEC pins and not to many have been scrapped. I know this pin was not scrapped, it was on my wants for so long and I have yet to see this pin in person witch is good because scrapped pins are seen on every lanyard

Thats not true I was there this past week and they still had pins on the cast side of the store and now they have pins in the gift shop side of the store. I saw about 5 pins there that are new. But as for the employ store I have nit seen new pins in a while
 
I think it is a very good trade offer; if the "offerer" has good feedback or refs, I, personally, would do it
