I remember reading somewhere last year that if you look at either your pending trades for the day, or the list of people trading a specific pin, and the order of the users' name was actually in the order of when they joined PinPics, with the ones towards the top of the list being the oldest on site, and the ones towards the bottom being newer. Is this still done that way?

The reason I ask is I have noticed a lot of the higher end pins on my wants, like DA Stitchs, Scrooges, LE Jessicas, etc, seem to all have an influx of new traders and when you look at their traders, they have a lot of rarer pins for such new accounts. Now I am not anyone to say anything, having an account for only about 3 years myself, so I was wondering if these are secondary accounts for existing users, etc. When I try to do trades, I either get a No response, No Thank you, or a counter offer well out of the range of what I feel comfortable. Then when you check their feedback via their e-mail, you do not find any?

Yes. the database has been changing.

There has been an elimination of those accounts deemed inactive. Also, traders are only allowed one account per IP address, so the extra accounts are being eliminated.

I know from talking with older traders; that when given the choice of which account to keep -they keep the most recent one -as it is typically the most up to date. Also, you are finding pin trading families/households consolidating their accounts into one name -hence a newer name showing older, higher end pins.

It still appears to be in Chronological order for those accounts remaining.

Hope this helps!

Id the one account per IP addy confirmed because my husband and I both have pinpics, with very different pins for trade/want. We actually are one of those rare couple who keep their pins separate. We dont trade from eachothers book much, if at all. This would suck. I hope they notify before deleting.

I think so, one per email address.

Sis & I are on the same pp account name (starry_solo) so that makes it easier to see what we both have together :)
