Some of you know I am a completist (gotta have every variation of my favorite character-FIGARO) and I bought the DS 110th Legacy and I was able to get the 110th Japan variation of Figro and Frankie and Figaro. What I would like to know, who else is trying to collect the Japan 110th Legacy or their favorite character counter part?
 
Well I am not a Pixar movie completist, but I do consider myself to be a "Monster's, Inc. door" completist. I know it sounds funny, but I have a plan to make a shadowbox with just doors from the movie. Of all the door pins out there, the 110th Legacy Collection pin is my absolute favorite. In fact, I'd say that it's one of my top 10 favorite pins in my whole collection.

Now with that being said, I'm not going to try to get the Japan version of the 110th door. If it falls into my lap down the road, that's great, I'd love to have it. But I still don't think I'd put it in my shadowbox. I feel like having two of the "same pin" (as far as anyone here looking at my collection knows) in the shadowbox would make them both feel less special.

Besides that, with an LE size of 110, and being in Japan, the pins will be super hard to get, and I just don't think it's worth it to worry that much about a pin that I basically already have.
 
I am collecting just my favorites from the JDS 110th Legacy. I just have Figaro and Cleo so far, but I am trading for others. I was sad that the Lady and the Tramp version has sold out there as well. :(
 
They are next to impossible. You don't even see them on e//ay. I was sure lucky to get my cats. >^..^<
 
The edition size is different but also the metal is silver on the Japan versions instead of gold. At least that's what I was told, but someone who has both versions might be able to see for sure.

Tiggeriffic, yes, the metal on the Japan 110th Legacy Collection pins is silver. Here is a picture(not so great pic..I took it with my camera phone) of the Figaro and Cleo. I'm also including pictures of the next batch of Japan 110th Legacy Pins coming.

are the japan versions of the pins released on disneystore japan website or somewhere else??

plus UP pin! I might need to get that from japan unsure yet lol

Those pins will be released on disneyshopping.com (gold versions) - if you mean you want both the US and Japan versions then here's wishing you luck! The US versions should be released during this month.
