Hi guys,

It's been awhile since I've been on here, but a last minute decision to visit DLR for the actual 60th anniversary has me excited!! I've been looking for any news of special events or releases that day, but I haven't seen anything and that doesn't seem like Disney to me so I'm reaching out on here to see if anyone else might know of any news.

I know there was an event in May, but are any pins being released for the actual day? Or are there special pins that are still in the park for the Diamond celebration?

It's been over a year since I've been to Disneyland (sad I know!), but besides the new Fireworks, World of Color, and Paint the Night, does anyone have any recommendations for anything we CAN'T miss?

I heard from somewhere that it's going to be a dapper day but haven't seen any info about it

Refurbished Matterhorn, Haunted Mansion, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan's Flight if you like those attractions.

There should be plenty of 60th pins all over the place. Not sure if anything specific to that day, though.

Here is a blog on some new merchandise being released specifically for that day...and there is a pin! I'm just getting into the pin craze and just got an annual pass to Disneyland! I hope I'll be able to go on the 17th!

It's not an official/unofficial Dapper Day, but the Disney Parks Blog invited everyone attending to "Rock Your Disney Side" by wearing clothes appropriate to the 1955 opening year era.

Check out the TWO pin flyers for the July Disneyland pin releases. They are posted in the Disney merchandise site. The Disney Parks Blogs just had a post on new DLR 60th merchandise to be released next week.
