if it is a wrist band thing. you will need to go to the AP part of the disney web. There will b a link some were that lets u sign up to get a wrist band. than when they pick the names. you will get a email if u got picked for wristband. that email will tell u whn and were to go to pick it up.

I have not seen this post or thread about the 29th. so im not sure if it is wrist band or not. Just saying how it usaly works.

I'm reasonably sure (but not 100%, so don't make any plans based upon my response) that the summer releases will be wristband releases. At least, that was the impression I got from talking to the CMs at PTN in April.
 
I plan to make a thread on the "Pins for Sale/Wanted" board of this forum once we have more information about the release method, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to say this here as long as we are talking about it.

As a Cars pin collector, I am looking to buy some pins for my permanent collection from both this June 29th Cars Land pin release ("Road trip to California"), as well as the second Cars Land pin release ("Car Show at Disneyland") on August 17th.

If anyone could help me with either of these releases, I would SO appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
 
Theres way more than just cars pins though. There are car/mechanic/road sign/destination themed pins. I am super excited there is a dumbo car wash pin :0) and a really cool license plate mystery set
 
It's true, there are a LOT of Cars pins coming out between now and August, but I just want to express that there is at least one person who is extremely happy about the selection (that would be me). :hsd:

There are some pins coming out that I have been dreaming about for years. I mean, grail-type stuff. :bowdown: So I don't care if they "aren't going to be that tradeable", because I only need them for my permanent collection anyway. :x:

No, I won't be getting ALL of them. But even if they had decided to only release half as many pins, then I'm sure the ones that I really want would definitely be in the half that they decided not to make. :anxious:

So I say, let them make as many pins as they want! They will eventually get at least some of them right, as they have done here. :salute:
 
I'm super excited about the Cars pins too. I love a lot of the pins, looking forward to my first big "Grand Opening" "Opening Day" type event since I've been collecting! Only had Ariel and Goofy's Sky School really so far.
