New pictured. The kittens are progressing. Most of them are eating kibble now. We discovered that the ones we've been calling Chip and Dale are girls! So, that means Jack is the lone boy. Dale loves spending time with us on her own. Jack and Harley do too sometimes. Chip, well, she's not really a people kitty. Dale purrs as soon as you touch her. She's going to make such a great cuddle cat.

Anyway, we've all been able to relax and laze around today.

Jack is the cutest kitten! He's still quite a bit smaller than the other two Siamese. We keep wondering if he's going to catch up of if he's part Munchkin cat. His legs seem so short. (He's the one in the solo pictures.)

Harley has the most beautiful coat. I have to see if I can get a picture of her tummy. It's a beautiful marbling of colors.

Anyway, enjoy!

We just tried to take our Christmas photo with Chewy and the foster Siameses. About 5 minutes in, I decided to film some of it to show what a process it is. I couldn't stop laughing (sorry about that). All of the cats were good sports and the kittens just thought it was fun.

So, the Christmas tree is up with lights strung on it. The kittens have been curious about it, but haven't been too bad. My "teenagers", however, have been well, teenagers. I cannot get them to leave the tree alone! Meowse and Chewy each keep trying to climb the tree. We have a table and a half wall around the tree that the get up on and try to step into the tree from a higher spot, so branches are getting bent. The tree skirt needs to be put back in place each morning. And in true Meowse fashion, he was sitting under the tree playing with the lights and decided to chew on one of them. He bit down so hard, he broke a lightbulb! Thank goodness I was here to grab the pieces before he could eat them. Luckily, he hasn't tried that since. Meowse also kept sitting in the middle of other house decorations.

The kittens are super spoiled and we're getting to that stage where they're attached and I'm worried about them having broken hearts when they have to leave. It's probably me just projecting emotions, but it's so much easier when it feels like the kittens aren't attached to us. Dale comes to greet me when I come home from work each day and purrs even before we pet her. Jack gets excited when he sees us. All four kittens follow Josh throught the house when they pay attention that he's walking around. They're still underweight, but we're hoping they can get fixed and find new homes for Christmas.

Btw, my Christmas card order is on the way. If anyone would like to receive the card featuring Santa Claws and his elves this year, please PM me your address!

Okay, so for those that don't see kitten #4, she's on the right hand side tucked behind the column.

Also, here's what the back half of the tower looks like and how the kittens get back there.

Short post. Kittens are at 3 pounds. They're going back on Saturday. Hopefully they will be adopted quickly! There are a TON of kittens this December.

Also, since there are so many kittens, Josh will probably be bringing a new litter home when he drops these off. So, that's good, but I'm still going to miss these stinkers a whole lot.

So, we were told their surgery isn't until Monday and they're ketting us keep them for an extra night. Yay! Still going to be hard to say goodbye.

Chip likes to follow Josh around the house and snuggle with him on the couch. Chewy plays with thr kittens and has been teaching Jack what it's like to be a grown-up male cat. Dale is super cute and loves to hoard toys. She actually growls at her siblings when they try to play with her toy. Harley, well, she's super sweet and just a crazy little girl.

Any if you saw my post about crafts and cats, here's another picture from today. Harley must have learned from Uncle Chewy.

The litter went back about an hour ago. I cried lots of tears.

Josh just got home. He brought these three with him. Two all black, one tuxedo.

The littlest one still needs a little bottle feeding. Josh was told she's a girl. She seems kind of spacey and hasn't moved around much. The larger black one (I'm assuming for now is a boy based on gut feeling only - I've been wrong a LOT) came out of the carrier, looked around, arched his back and hopped around wanting to play already. He's attacked my slippers and tackled his sister. The largest one, the tuxedo, hissed at the dog, jumped and spat at her, is exploring the bathroom here and is kind of playing with middle child. The smallest one just trilled and is walking around (yay!).

And a photo of the scratches the one left on my leg when he tried to climb it in the video.

Well, this was quick. The little one isn’t doing well. She hasn’t kept food down and has been pretty lethargic since we brought her here. Josh is taking her to the emergency vet. I’m pretty sure they’re going to put her down.

On a different note, I took a quick peek and yes, my instincts were wrong. It looks like the tuxedo is a boy and the black one is a girl.

Will give an update when I can. Thank you guys for being here.

Sorry about the little one. If you’re taking name ideas for the others - Oreo’s a cutie! :). You’re a good foster cat-mama.

So, the two that we still have are doing well. The tuxedo boy is a little cautious when it comes to us reaching out for him, but has no problem playing when we stand in the room. The other one purrs when we pet her and still bounces around everywhere.

We asked the adoption coordinator if there were other kittens we could take in, but there aren’t any that are older at this time. Hopefully, there will be some soon. It feels kind of lonely to have only two. She met up with Josh at the emergency vet and took the other little one and was going to try to see what she could do. She hasn’t told us what happened, but texted an apology that we had to go through that.

Not much to report about these two. They went for a check-up last week and are healthy. The girl is still a little skinny, but she's okay. We asked about adding more kittens and there aren't any at this time! Shocking, but that's also a good thing.

The girl follows us around, especially if she feels it's mealtime. She eats kibble, but loves the canned food! The boy plays near us and will even come up to us, but he does not like to be picked up. He tries to run every time we reach for him that way. He was napping in a cardboard box the other day and let me reach down to pet him and didn't even flinch! Progress! Both of them love being groomed by "grandma" and playing with their uncles' tails. They even like to cuddle with the dog.

We ended up naming them Chimp and Zee. We saw an old Looney Tunes cartoon named that and I thought it would be cute. I was going to name her Polly because she kept climbing on our shoulders, but she hasn't done that for a couple of weeks now.

They're almost 3 pounds, so they'll be going soon. We have a trip scheduled for the end of February. Not sure if that's enough time for another litter. We'll see. We've only had these for almost a month. Seems like such a longer time, though.
