Thanks Disneykid and sheldoal! I just got off the phone to a lovely lady who processed my card again (and who apologised so many times and thanked me so many times - I need to ring Disney more often. I have never been thanked so much for verifying my postal address and name, it's amazing - not even joking). So now that mess is all cleared I should have my doll soon(ish) - whenever they ship her out, so not until next week probably. But at least she's sorted, so I'm all happy now!!
 

Wonderful! Glad it was sorted out. Yeah, I know what you mean about the thanking. I was thanked for giving them permission to use my first name, for verifying adress and phone number, for putting me on hold, for waiting on hold, etc. LOL
 
So excited! I got the first spot at my local Disney store for tomorrow's releases

How did you manage that? I thought it was first come first serve on the day of?

I have to try my luck online. I am not going to be able to go into the store tomorrow morning.
 

For most of Texas it's going to be 2am, but there's a small area on the west side tip that's actually going to be 1am. I'm not sure how far it extends, but I do know the city of El Paso and some of the surrounding counties are included. So in the end, it all depends on which city in Texas you are; if you're in Austin or something farther in, it'll be 2am. If you're closer to the west part of Texas, I'd look into it. Haha, and may you get enough sleep to function at work!
 

Hahaha.... Thank you! Yes I'm just up the road from Austin so it'll be 2am. My plan is to go to bed around 7:00 and get up at 2:00....if I can I will go back to sleep
 
I really hope that everybody looking for an Ursula and Eric tonight gets one! I know I'll be a bundle of nerves until I know it's over and I have both in hand!
 

This is my exact problem. I'm in Canada, it is still just showing active. I phoned in and they aren't able to tell me more than that. I could get one off the UK disney store website, but that means I am depriving someone in UK/Europe of the doll and potentially ending up with two of them. Or I could wait and end up with a potential situation where I don't get the doll at all. Which would suck considering this LE is one of my favorites.
 
Just and FYI - For those planning to go to your local store for Ursula and Eric - CALL FIRST!!! The store is allowed to determine if they want to release them first come first serve or hold a raffle. It is up to the store. 2 of the stores around me are holding the raffle for sure! I called and confirmed. Please call your store so you are not wasting your time!!! The raffles for the stores around me are ending at 10:15. Just a heads up for everyone!!! Good luck to everyone!!!

I just called my local store and they aren't getting any of Ursula or Eric in. Times like this being an international collector sucks!
 
Disney Store UK will also sell LE Eric and Ursula online right? ( So I know which site to check lol) the sale starts at 8 am (uk time right?)
 
Hey everyone - I had gotten an email from DS saying ariel shipped and the tracking said a label had been created on the 24th. It stayed like that for a few days and I wrote DS and they said just wait, it shipped. So I called this morning and they put me on hold a bunch of times and came back and told me "It is lost. We don't have any replacements. We can refund your money via giftcard". I was like WHAT? Talking to the CM who answered got me no where as she said, no there were no more. So I asked to speak with a manager, was put on hold again and the original CM came back on and said "OO I was magically able to find one". Anyway, just wanted to warn anyone, if you're still having any issues with your order, I would call today and make sure it sorted. I'd bet they have a few saved for weird circumstances and make sure you push them until they help you. Had I just lived with what the CM said, all I'd have is a giftcard refund right now.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow. The Ursula and Eric doll has been giving me anxiety for weeks. I think I'll kind of be relieved after tomorrow ;P

I am so glad that you were forceful and got your doll. Sadly, in some cases the nicer are, the more you get pushed around. I have also been anxious about Ursula and Eric. Good luck to you!
 

So sorry yours was lost but glad you were able to get another one. I was one of those people who freaked out because I sensed something was wrong. Ends up there was something wrong, and I called early and was able to get it worked out. AS of Sunday afternoon, the CM working my case claimed Ariel was in stock--I assume as replacements for damaged or lost dolls such as yours. However, who knows how many were set aside? The faster you move on these types of things, the better your chances of getting your doll. From personal experience, I would definitely recommend people act on their gut instincts. Don't worry if others think you are crazy for getting wound out of shape over a doll. Disney does mislabel things; the USPS and UPS do lose or destroy packages from time to time. I had a LE doll set lost or never sent--so said the CM working my case at the time. She wasn't sure which one. She said if it should ever show up on my door, just give them a ring. LOL. It never showed up, so I assume it either wasn't sent or else someone stole it before it ever got to me.

I also agree with Meawhite. The nicer you are, the more people think they can push you around and manipulate you. One has to be forceful in these situations. Not rude or nasty, but forceful.

The problem for the people whose doll order is still just "active" is that technically, they have up until Oct 1st to ship the darn thing. In fact one of CM I talked to on the phone told me that NONE of the dolls have shipped yet because they can't ship them till the first, which is definitely not true. But without even a tracking number, I'm not sure how to get them to do anything.

But yeah, I would say freaking out with disneystore.com is not unreasonable given that their track record is crap. It's not like those of us freaking have no reason to do so.
 
For those of you that asked how I managed to be first on line...um...I just went to my local store and lined up for tomorrow lol. They know I'm not going anywhere until dolls are in my hands tomorrow. It is first come first serve ...so I arrived first and I will be served first lol.
 
I don't think that's accurate about the raffle. The 17" collection is not handled the same way. It will be first come, first serve. Regardless of what they tell you that is the policy. They are trying to give people the run around as to not have people panic, but the realty is everyone wants these dolls and people aren't going to wait all night to be told tomorrow it's being done as a raffle. That would cause major havoc.
