My significant other is great too! He is a gamer as well and doesn't really "buy into" Disney, but he asked his parents for an annual pass to Disney for his Birthday so that I didn't have to go alone anymore, and he even got up at 4:00 A.M. to drive with me to Orlando for Ursula and Eric. He admits that he loves the dolls too, just not their prices... lol. However, he is cutting wood to put on top of my curio cabinets to level them so I can display them all proudly! Up until recently my villains were all in boxes still. Then I got tired of it and put them up on the curio cabinets full of WDCC, but they aren't level and were driving me nuts, so he said he was going to cut out the dimensions to "display them properly, like they deserve to be." He's pretty great! Definitely the only one I know who would sit on the floor of the Florida Mall at 6:00 A.M. for four hours with me... haha
 
HEY! some cool news! I just got a call that the Disney Store is planning to replace my damaged Ursula!!! DDDDD
 
We have too much stuff to easily display these, but I thought they'd fit on top of the armoire in, yes, our living room. It's not like we have that many people over so we might as well see them ourselves.

So my dear Hubby looks at the armoire and says--this after such complaining about the dolls at all--"I can build a shelf or something so they'll all fit up there. But you're going to have to dust them." I swear, complaining is his hobby.
 

That is so funny! My boyfriend says the same thing! I think he loves complaining about my dolls! I also keep six of my 17" LE dolls on top of the armoire in the living room. Right now, LE Mother Gothel, LE Queen of Hearts, LE Cinderella, LE Belle, LE Ariel, and LE Prince Eric are featured up there in as creative an arrangement as I can do. You can't really see Cinderella or Belle from the front, as they are facing outward near the back corners but are placed behind two of the other dolls. I also have LE Tiana and LE Alice on top of a book case in the living room nearby. LE Snow White and LE Rapunzel (blonde) are in my room. All of my other LE dolls are safely packed away in their shipper boxes, due to lack of display space.
 
Thats so cute. I made my DH put up shelves, and put a unit together to hold all the Disney stuff. Now I have to have him lower the shelves to fit the LE dolls and their cases. WE are both HUGE Disney nerds. We are originally from FL and go back down 2-4 times a year. He just isnt really into the collecting as much as I am. He just loves going to the parks.
 
Hit a string of misfortunes these past few days. The bad news is my Eric got lost when transfering to usps and the CM was misinformed about having another Ursula so no new doll, but on the bright side, I got a full refund for both dolls and I get to keep the Ursula doll they sent me.

Awww... So sorry to hear!!! I hope you have better luck coming your way soon! Did / are you attempting to get the Ariel / Eric set today / tonight?
 
I am very sorry to hear this I do not understand why things from Disney shipped by the post office tend to be lost more frequently. I prefer the post office for my mailing needs, It never really bothered me who delivered my stuff. However, UPS has a reputation for delivering damaged goods that scares me. For whatever reason it seems that things from Disney shipped by USPS are at a higher risk of getting lost. So odd.
 
Guess who just got LE Merida and LE Wedding Rapunzel for less than retail price? Me! I got Merida for $20. Yes, you read that correctly. $20, new in box, undamaged, the whole party. And Rapunzel, $75! I cannot believe my luck! And both of these right after getting Cinderella for original retail! I'm beaming like a little kid.

That is absolutely fantastic! Congrats! Were these the dolls that were from the same seller? I was watching them, but decided to hold off. He had them with a reserve price and he let Merida go for $20, that is amazing! These are the sales that get me all excited Congrats and enjoy your dolls!
 

OO, congrats! I think I know which ebay listing the Rapunzel one was (was interested in it as well XD), but for the life of me I can't find the ended Merida listing for $20! I mean, that's surreal! Was she on Craigslist or something amazing like that? Either way, another huge CONGRADULATIONS!
 
Congrats! I remember you put up the link on a previous post and I saw them. I though "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........" and then decided to snap out of it. LOL! Congratulations again!!!
 
I cant wait to see what the LE Frozen dolls look like. I might get them, as I have a feeling that I might love this movie a lot and want them. If I dont like the movie I guess I can always sell/trade the dolls.

I saw that a few days ago for about almost $200+, not sure if that's the same seller or just a left over picture. Funny thing is, it looks like it's missing the same items as the one auction back in August that sold for $99

I'm pretty sure it is, I bid on that auction but decided that if I would pay $100, I would pay $200 or so more to get her complete. Why on earth do they think they can get that amount? New in box often sells for $300-$350 on eBay.
 
If u click the link it's being sold for around $ 170 with shipping, still two much for a beat up childs play doll , why anyone would give a doll worth $100 to a child to play with is beyond me, and to think there's only 1500 of her.
 
I wish someone would leak pictures of the frozen dolls...the suspense waiting for them is killing me!!!

My dream is that one day they will make a 17" pocahontas doll...it'd be beautiful
