Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

KG, this is exactly what happened to me! I never received a blast off email and today I got something saying "your package has been delivered" and there was Elsa sitting on my porch Im still waiting for Anna to show up when she feels like it, but I think its appropriate of the older sister to arrive first.. and on such a cold day!

Yeah so...I'm experiencing the same/similar thing. I got the "Blast Off" email the Thursday after I ordered my Elsa. I've checked the tracking daily and...it still states that a label was created and that they are just waiting for her to get to the UPS facility for processing. Oh boy...that is lackluster hope inducing there...
I'll try live chatting with a CM tonight to see if they think mine is lost too. Talk about a fiasco. If any of us receive these "lost dolls", they won't be additions to our collections, they will be miracle trophies to our collections.

Sometimes it could take a while for a charge to appear on your credit card. I know that Disney Store charged me twice and then realised their mistake and then reversed it again. But the charges have appeared on my statement today so I guess if they still havent appeared on yours then it could possibly mean that they charged someone else for your dolls and then shipped them to you and then realised their mistake and reversed the charge on that person??

I think Disney has just completely stuffed up the orders and shipping for these dolls, I find that they really need to improve their shipping process because this is really unacceptable. I feel so bad for all of those people that had their labels printed only to be told that they didnt attach the label to a doll hence it never got shipped out it has happened to me before and I think Disney needs to realise that this is happening a lot and do something about it even if it means that they only print the label out and notify someone once it has been physically attached to an item rather than printing out all the labels and the sticking them onto the items. Clearly the guys at the warehouse dont realise how important some of these items are to people so have no care whatsoever when it comes to shipping labels.

Dont forget if your tracking status never changes to the green in transit status that means that is is a Disney issue and not an UPS issue because Disney is the one that delivers the items to UPS for them to to then scan the label and initiate the transit status. So what this means is that Disney has printed a label but fails to attach it to something or sticks two onto one box (which has happened before).

Maybe we should take some advice from out French and fellow Euro members with their act towards disputing the 20 pound increase in the price of the dolls and raise up a stink about it on their Facebook page and start a petition or something. Because unless we get numbers complaining about it Disney will just keep doing this.

They found my Elsa doll in Illinois? Which is no where near where it was supposed to be delivered or how it would get there. It's not be sent back to Disney and apparently they are going to send it to me after that but I really have 0 hope at this point. There were numerous tracking numbers on it apparently. Has anyone ever had this happen and has it ended well? I'm just afraid they are going to get it back and return it or just not send it at all.

I got a slight update. I started a live chat to find out why it only said that a label was created but hadn't made it to the shipping facility yet. I stated my case...but the person said it was sensitive information, gave me the 800 number, and the chat was ended. I called the number, stated my case again, I told her it was the Elsa doll, then she asked if I had any personalized items, told her again that it was just the Elsa doll...then she typed more stuff, realized it was the Elsa doll and put me on hold. A minute or two later, she came back and said that it states that it takes 7-9 days to ship, that the weekend doesn't count as a business day, and that Thanksgiving will be in the way, but that everything was ok and I'd get her soon enough. I thanked her and we ended the conversation...but I have to admit...I was really caught off guard because her voice was really shaky after she came back from having me on hold. I dunno, it was odd and made me uncomfortable. Maybe she got yelled at or something, I dunno, I am an overthinker and I found it odd that she went from all happy-happy-Disney to shaky-have you been crying-voice. An hour later, I checked again and apparently my Elsa has made it to the warehouse and I should get her Friday-ish. I personally can't wait...but I kinda don't wanna do online buys anymore.
But, on the plus side, I can potentially see the movie before I get my doll.

I'm having similar issues. Both my Elsa and Anna dolls have tracking numbers but only Anna's showed any progress and she arrived today. I called Disney and was told the same thing, except nothing has updated :/ I pray she isn't lost somewhere....

same here. I guess we're all having the same problem with Elsa being the one getting left behind somehow.

Not cool :/. It would be my favorite character who would have trouble getting to me. And to others it seems. Argentine, she's supposed to arrive Wednesday, and she shipped out on the 22nd. But I feel like I should have gotten an update by now.

This happened to Shivatopia as well, he eventually got the doll but it took a lot longer than expected as it traveled an unnecessary route.

My Anna arrived today but my Elsa is still on her way, she should be getting in tomorrow but like you guys I am nervous that something might happen to the package to stuff it all up, ill just feel a lot better once I receive both dolls and know that I got the right ones as well.

I just wonder what's going on? Why are they all getting mixed up??? One tracking number says 2 packages in shipment....then the other number says the same thing...?! I'm glad I got Anna, and HOPE I'll get Elsa soon!

did they happen to tell you all the tracking numbers that were on it? the only reason I ask is because I'm having issues with this as well and it's bothering me that they cannot replace it. they just told me it's lost, but now i'm hoping there's a different tracking number and that's what they've been scanning but it still exists.

Yeah the number of packages refers to the total number of packages that was registered to be delivered to a particular address, so when the labels were created Disney would have created both labels at the same time and UPS would have considered this as two packages from Disney to be sent to the address however each package has its own tracking number. It is a weird thing with UPS I dunno why they do it but the two packages are referring to the two different tracking numbers. So even though it says two packages there is only one package that relates to the one tracking number. It is rather irritating how they do this.

So I spoke to someone and apparently, it's lost. They've set up a refund so it should be in my account in the next 3-5 days *sigh* I would much rather have the doll.

This is awful! Did they say if it was lost in transit or in the warehouse? It seems way too early to deem a shipped package lost.. Ugh, they really need to put some dolls aside for instances like this, we dont even have a second chance to get them when the system fails. and since its LE second hand prices are crazy... Im so sorry this has happened

Sorry to hear, does this mean that there are dolls floating around the US that are going to the wrong people? I am starting to suspect that if we have a numerous amounts of "lost" dolls and a scenario where someone received dolls that they didnt even pay for that Disney has done something really bad to stuff this all up. When they say it was lost did your status actually change to "in-transit"? Or has it always remained at the label created stage because I think this is Disney's fault, either they doubled up the labels attached to the packages like what happened with Shiva and jjohnson or they just forgot to stick the label on a doll and lost it.

I know they refund you your money back in the form of a refund or a gift card but I think most people would prefer the doll so this is just wrong, they need to have procedures in place to deal with this problem even if it means pulling excess stock from the Euro market to fulfill those orders, paying you double so that you can buy it from the secondary market or simply by improving on their shipping procedure. Sorry I know I keep harping on about it but this is just unjust and wrong of Disney to keep doing this because it is a sign of poor customer service.

Disney really needs to get their act together because this is just unacceptable...

They think the lost my other Elsa I called and the woman was very nice and worked very hard to try to find out what was up and she said unfortunately it may be lost. She sent out a request to look for her and try to get her to me but warned that its is possible I may not get her.

I mean at least I am still getting one, but Im still extremely upset. This is unacceptable that they would just lose a package when It was paid for? Its seems to be happening to a lot of us here and thats very upsetting. The woman on the phone was very helpful and I thanked her for that so I did not get upset with her as it is absolutely not her fault. I would like to voice my opinion elsewhere as this is completely ridiculous.

I hope it works out for everyone who has to deal with this.

I think I might have to call if my Anna doesnt show up tomorrow... I never received tracking info for her or Elsa, though Elsa is here and my card hasnt been charged for her. It still only shows a pending balance for the total, but that has been there since the 20th.

I think what I find even more annoying is that there are people who have paid and have had their cards charged that didn't receive their dolls and then there are other who haven't been charged that received the dolls. Not saying that those that have not been charged don't deserve the dolls as they probably did order it as well but it just shows Disney's lack of organization at dealing with something like this. It is like at the expo they don't seem to know how to handle these things and their inexperience shows when all these errors and mishaps occur. Hopefully they do learn from it because they should be compensating people more than just a refund as they should compensate for the time they wasted and for getting people's hopes up.

All she said was that it lost, and that they are completely sold out in the warehouse so they cannot even dispatch another one. She said since it's been 24-48 hours since the label has been created with no progress, there's a good chance that it's gone. They're still going to try and locate it, but the fact that she was so adamant to give me a refund makes it seem like there's no hope in that. But thank you, I completely agree that they need to save some.

Since so many of the Elsa's are having problems I wouldn't lose hope yet. Up until about 7pm today I was under the impression it was lost and that I would not be getting a doll and probably be getting a refund. I then got an email from UPS(!), not Disney, that it had been scanned under other tracking numbers and was now being sent back to Disney. I then called Disney and informed them of this. It's now been noted when it comes back to be overnighted to me, although I doubt it's going to happen at this point. I've done all I can at this point but you all never know. If this is the problem then perhaps you are all just one UPS scan away from getting your dolls sent back to Disney ? I sure hope so.

Also, I ordered the $10 snowglobe with my Anna and Elsa order that was "shipped" at the same time as them. This appeared to sit at the Tennessee UPS near the warehouse since the 21st.... I figured something had happened but at this point I really didn't care about this snowglobe... status updated today and it's about 30 mins from my home. No updates and 5 days in between leaving Disney and that. Point being, hope this turns around for you all.

yeah, the tracking info just says that a label has been created (it's been like that since Thursday). I even asked if they can pull from Europe and she pretty much said no in an indirect way but it's obvious what she meant. They really do need to fix things. They charged me for both already too! At least Anna is still coming (according to the tracking that is) This is super disappointing to say the least. I guess with Disney you really just can't make assumptions unless the doll is physically in your hands. A shipping confirmation is no longer good enough.

Sorry to double post but that is the exact state mine was in until tonight when UPS let me know it had in fact shipped. Disney didn't even realize it had gone to UPS (how do you not know that is beyond me?). Perhaps it will still turn up.
