Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
So! As of last night, my order still said 'Active' with no tracking information. I had sent an email to customer service to ask what was up, and I had recieved a polite but generic (check your email for status update, blah blah blah) reply. I had planned to call in the morning if there hadn't been an update.
So, about an hour ago, I get the email from UPS that my package has been delivered. And there they are, good as gold! They arrived in the same shipment but different packages.
There numbers are extremely off (I think Anna is around 0182 and Elsa is 1266). I knew they were going to be big, but I was not prepared for the size of them. They're my first 17" dolls, and I love them both. I had to open Anna up to fix her necklace - it had popped up just like in the promo image.
Has this ever happened to anyone here before? Not getting any tracking or confirmation? As of last night, my bank account has not been charged yet either.
Alright, this is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered with the Disney Store. At least I have a happy ending so far.
Now the site itself has updated with the order being "closed" but down at the bottom it says that it shipped today. It gives me a tracking number, that I put in and learned where my dolls have been (shipped Thursday, made it's roundabout way here today). I just checked and I have still not been charged for them. Every other time I've ordered I get charged just as soon as it ships.
So what is going on with this store?
I'm having similar issues. Both my Elsa and Anna dolls have tracking numbers but only Anna's showed any progress and she arrived today. I called Disney and was told the same thing, except nothing has updated :/ I pray she isn't lost somewhere....
They found my Elsa doll in Illinois? Which is no where near where it was supposed to be delivered or how it would get there. It's not be sent back to Disney and apparently they are going to send it to me after that but I really have 0 hope at this point. There were numerous tracking numbers on it apparently. Has anyone ever had this happen and has it ended well? I'm just afraid they are going to get it back and return it or just not send it at all.
This happened to Shivatopia as well, he eventually got the doll but it took a lot longer than expected as it traveled an unnecessary route.

I just wonder what's going on? Why are they all getting mixed up??? One tracking number says 2 packages in shipment....then the other number says the same thing...?! I'm glad I got Anna, and HOPE I'll get Elsa soon!

Sorry to hear, does this mean that there are dolls floating around the US that are going to the wrong people? I am starting to suspect that if we have a numerous amounts of "lost" dolls and a scenario where someone received dolls that they didnt even pay for that Disney has done something really bad to stuff this all up. When they say it was lost did your status actually change to "in-transit"? Or has it always remained at the label created stage because I think this is Disney's fault, either they doubled up the labels attached to the packages like what happened with Shiva and jjohnson or they just forgot to stick the label on a doll and lost it.
I know they refund you your money back in the form of a refund or a gift card but I think most people would prefer the doll so this is just wrong, they need to have procedures in place to deal with this problem even if it means pulling excess stock from the Euro market to fulfill those orders, paying you double so that you can buy it from the secondary market or simply by improving on their shipping procedure. Sorry I know I keep harping on about it but this is just unjust and wrong of Disney to keep doing this because it is a sign of poor customer service.
Disney really needs to get their act together because this is just unacceptable...
yeah, the tracking info just says that a label has been created (it's been like that since Thursday). I even asked if they can pull from Europe and she pretty much said no in an indirect way but it's obvious what she meant. They really do need to fix things. They charged me for both already too! At least Anna is still coming (according to the tracking that is) This is super disappointing to say the least. I guess with Disney you really just can't make assumptions unless the doll is physically in your hands. A shipping confirmation is no longer good enough.
