I do like Aurora's dress in that couture de force figure, it is one of the ones that I really want along with Jasmine and Belle.

I do hope we get some more information on the dolls soon, I am going to see Frozen again this weekend (it will be my third time LOL) just got my tickets then. I am secretly hoping that they will release a Kristoff LE as well, as a surprise release doll during the BluRay release, I think he would be pretty cool in his mountain man outfit. Plus it would be cool to see a big nosed doll since all of them have small pointy noses haha.

I did think about it though and if they were to release Kristoff as a surprise LE doll it would mean that there would be 5 LE dolls relating to Frozen which would make it the most LE dolls relating to any one movie. The last record was held by Tangled and TLM at 3 dolls each but Frozen has already beaten this with the two original LE releases, the Harrods set (if you are going to count that as a separate release) and the upcoming preorder dolls of Anna and Elsa based on the bluray release. So if they were to add Kristoff if would mean that there will be 5 dolls or 6 sets (if you include the Harrods) which is double the last record for a release relating to one movie.

So the more I think about it the less likely we will get a Kristoff LE doll but still it would be cool as Prince Eric did technically sell out pretty fast so it does show that there is a market for the male LE dolls out there.
 
Just throwing this out there, but they were to plant a LE villain doll for Frozen, it would be you-know-who! Rather unlikely, I know, even moreso than a LE Kristoff doll.

I have a gut feeling that the alternate LE dolls for Elsa and Anna will be it for the upcoming release.
 
Frozen is a very good movie! :lol: I watched it four times already and am planning to go again with my cousin soon. The first time I watched Frozen was on November 26th 2013 at 7 p.m. (some sort of premiere) which was pretty special for me because that day 2010 was when I first watched Tangled. I also watched it Nov. 27th 2:40 p.m., Nov. 29th 3:35 p.m., and COUGH illegally online COUGH COUGH Dec. 23rd. Am I crazy for keeping track of these kind of things? xD

Back to Aurora, I just came across this picture online and I just thought it looks like something a LE Aurora Doll would wear. If Aurora HAD to be in pink, I hope it would be something like this.

Kind of unrelated to LE Dolls, but did anyone see a Disney Animators' Collection Tinker Bell in stores (or online)? I bought one at the NYC Disney Store but when I went to the Disney Store close to my house it wasn't there. I looked for it on the Disney Store website but it wasn't there either. Probably will soon, though. I hope they make a Rosetta and Silvermist and the other fairies. What if... IF! They release a surprise LE Tinker Bell along with the new movie Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy? My mother and her credit card must hate Disney right now.

I love the CDF Aurora, that would be a good way to go. I really want her, Belle, Rapunzel and Ariel but they are pretty pricey. I have to save for any SB LE this coming year.

I love that!! What a great and beautiful way to incorporate both colors.
 

The Tink animator doll has not been officially released online yet. I have a hunch that she will be released the same time as the Kristoff doll online. So just keep an eye out on the website over the next couple of days.

This may seem like a silly question .. But do gift cards work towards LE dolls?
I got a damaged item from the Disney Store online, but the item was sold out when I called so the best they could offer me was an online gift card. The only thing I buy online now is LE dolls.

Yep they do work, this is explained in the LE Dolls informative thread as it is a common question. Gift cards are like cash so will work on any item within the store. However most people avoid using them on LE releases as it generally takes time entering the number during checkout and can slow down the sale process.

I believe most people get the gift cards mixed up with vouchers/discount codes given to you by Disney through a promotion like the bluray release, these codes will generally exclude LE stock.
 
Thanks!! I wasn't sure and wanted to double check. I keep getting them mixed up with discount coupons.

While I'm here on the LE thread .. I'm hoping there's a leak photo or even a teaser picture from Disney soon about the new LE dolls. I'm going a little crazy with excitement. January 10th is not that far and will be here before you know it; it's less than 2 weeks away.
 
It's going to be such a long wait for Aurora or Maleficent Didn't we see a sculpt of maleficent on the same video from stitch kingdom that we saw the fairtytale collection which makes me think she might come before Aurora! I hope and think could happen, we get Aurora for sleeping beauty blue-ray and a Maleficent in the summer for the Maleficent movie(based on cartoon)
 

LOL yeah I know what you mean about the codes and cards LOL. As a tip If you want to use your gift card I recommend typing your number on word or somewhere on the computer and just copy the number, that way during check out you can just paste the number rather than having to type it out. It is what I did when I paid for my Anna LE doll and used a gift card.

I am hoping for some more information to be released later this week, hopefully we will get some images, because like you said the 10th is next Friday so that is not long to go and usually we get some sort of notice or statement on the DS blog about the upcoming releases.
 

It is unlikely that a cartoon version of Maleficent will be released along with the movie release. I think that the Frozen dolls being released around March has reduced the chances of Maleficent having a doll release but I definitely see a Maleficent being a surprise release for the Sleeping Beauty bluray release which is what I am hoping for, the longer it takes for Disney to release these dolls means that the longer they have to ensure that they design them well and release a product worth buying.
 
Went to my local DS today, which is considered an outlet store. I asked the cast memember who ordered my snow globe about the dolls. She said that I would be able to only to pre-order the movie, but not the dolls. She said they are definitely coming out!
 


omgosh....does that mean the dolls are being released for purchase on the 10th?!?!?! :| I gotta find £120 before the 10th january :lol:

It was mentioned on numerous occasions that there is a very strong possibility that they will be released for preorder on the 10th. There is no chance that they are being released for sale on the 10th because the bluray doesn't come out until March 18th and these dolls are being released to commemorate that release. So since you are in the UK unless they decide to start doing preorders you will be fine.
 

I might sell a few more of my items I have waiting to be sold to make up funds just incase the UK does introduce pre order :lol: !! Then if not I can always put the money aside for when the dolls are actually released
 
Oh she meant I couldn't preorder the dolls there because they were not getting them. I could only order the bluray. Being it's an outlet location I suppose. I asked her if she knew the edition size but she did not know.
 
FYI... It is not a preorder for the dolls!!! They are available to purchase on January 10th!!! I have confirmation!!!
 
Yeah, my store confirmed, too. They come out next week, first come first serve. That is so strange.

Now I wonder if there may be a Kristoff with the video release.

So, these are NEW dolls, right? Not just an extended edition of the 2 released like 3 weeks ago?

I phoned both stores near me, the 1st store confirmed that they will receive them on Friday (then I can ask how many they are getting) and that it was a pre-order to be released with the blu-ray/dvd. (which doesn't make any sense, why would you be getting them on Friday, but keeping them in the back until March?)

The second store I phoned said they weren't sure if they were getting any, but that they did get the memo that it was a pre-order to go with the blu-ray/dvd.

Happy New Year guys! Yes I agree I think it weird to be released this early and not a preorder I would guess that the CMs that informed people that the dolls are being released next week are confused about the concept of preorder. As it does actually state that they are presales in the doll's description to be released along with the bluray release.

maybe try clarifying that again with a different CM? Maybe the manager? Because I think the CM might have thought it to be a release but it is just a Presale.

No they have not, nothing official at least hence why it is strange that they would just release it next week all of a sudden and the fact that the stores haven't received any stock yet is also weird too as they should have received it around now if the sale were next week. I think it too soon in the new year for them to be releasing the actually doll and on a date with no actual significance as well. It really does sound more like a preorder and the description of the dolls actually states Presale.

It's awesome if they release them on the 10th. That would actually be an awesome birthday present for me.

LE Kristoff for the DVD too please, and any other Frozen doll. (Hans...?) :naughty:
