Yeah, that drove me nuts because people kept talking about getting their Ariels before the official release date, yet mine took forever because she was initially sent to wrong location. My state is connected to TN. People in FL should not have been receiving her before I did. LOL. Lucky me, she was in perfect condition.It's hard to say, when Ariel was released, a lot of us received her a week earlier than the store pre orders. However, the past release of Anna and Elsa was totally different, due to delays/ dolls being lost by ups. I'm thinking maybe it was like that because of it being the holiday season. Fingers crossed we receive them early

If they do make a 17" Hans doll.. Would he be wearing his coronation outfit? or the regular clothes with the coat? And more importantly.... is he going to have rooted sideburns?

I loved Kristoff but I do not know if I would buy an LE doll of him. When they made Eric they made him 18" which was a problem as the boxes are designed more for 17" dolls which caused a part of his head was cut off by the box because of how tall he was. This made me decide right away that I was not interested in acquiring him because he did not look very appealing with a part of his head out of view and so if they were to make an LE Kristoff they would have to do something about the box in order for me to consider buying him. Not to say that Kristoff would not look awesome as a doll considering how detailed and well made the 12" one is.
Cause there are no other characters that they could make dolls for, unless they do a set with the 3 fairies.
She will be shipped separately I ordered the Jasmine Couture figure with the Frozen bluray so they will split the order and send the figure first and then the bluray when it is ready to be shipped.
I wouldn't say it is highly likely that we will get both as a surprise release mainly because of two reasons:
1) They have already released 4 dolls from the same movie which is already the most LEs based on the one movie.
2) Whilst you could say that Eric was successful I do not believe that Disney would be game enough to release two male dolls at the same time out of fear that one will cannibalize the others' sales.
Also IMO I think Hans would look too similar to Eric with the same sort of outfit and to be honest dont think will sell very well especially if they were to make a Kristoff as well.
I think if they were to have a surprise doll then it really should be Kristoff as this could be a unique doll. Also they dont necessarily have to make the Kristoff LE an heirloom doll but could make him part of the other LE dolls like Calhoun mainly because they could give him all these amazing accessories too and he would look pretty cool in his mountain man outfit. That and he is a lot stockier that most of the traditional Disney Princes/Partners so I do prefer a doll based on him rather than Hans.
I just think we could possibly get one but to say we would get two and say it is highly likely is a very big call to make but who knows you are right about Frozen being a huge marketing and merchandise success for Disney so anything is possible.
I just had a thought was Cinderella 18" because of her hair updo? Maybe that is why with her being 18" we can still see her face as the extra inch is her hair?
With Eric, this could have easily been fixed had they just made the window bigger... Maybe they'll make them 17.25 or 17.5" long...
As for Sleeping Beauty, I can see them doing the following:
1. LE 5000 Aurora (most likely in her pink dress)
2. LE 1500 Phillip
3. LE 3000 Maleficent

That reminds me of the Classic set of the three fairies. I saw it when looking at someone's collection on Flickr. I didn't even realize until then that they made a DS box set of the three fairies. It is adorable.I know it won't happen, but that makes me want an LE doll set of the three fairies all in the same box, kind of like Merida and Elinor. How cute would that be?! :lol:
