Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Just to send to Canada it's stupid expensive compared to US prices.. maybe $30 shipping, and another $50 custom fees. No thank you.

Not to mention custom fees as well... I would never buy from the US store if I were to get it send to Denmark.

Can't believe Europe get just 500 and the US get 4500 so not fair! They never learn! Can see this ending in disaster just like in March. Will be glad ones these are out so I can get them and then can happily stop collecting.

Exactly. It's really not fair.

What happened in the past with LE dolls with lower ranges? It sure seemed easier to get those. Is it only lately that they've been giving us just 500?

Yes, thank you! I paid $50 shipping for my March Anna and another $25 at customs. It's stupid- they'd get so many more Canadian customers if they didn't use UPS. Shouldn't be that expensive to come over the border! I've sent them numerous messages asking to consider something along the lines of borderfree or to make some alternative arrangements so that shipping is reasonable. I also just redeemed my movie rewards points and got an animator doll and THAT sends free! So you know they could probably give us cheaper services but just don't.Why can't they give us better shipping rates?

I am so disappointed and angry with the DS lately. It does not have any sense to sell Europeans just 500 dolls. We had 1000 Ariel and they were sold out fast. We are real customers.
I will not precommand to the US and pay more that double price for a doll I can try to have in store, but it makes me so angry to see that we are not considerate by the DS. The day of the release of March Frozen dolls is still a nightmare in my memory è_é

I arrived at the mall at 9:25 and was ninth. I believe they had 12 doll vouchers. Unsure if that is the number of dolls or not. This was my first attempt to get one of the limited edition 17" dolls, and I succeeded! I'm stoked!

I don't get why they can't do pre-orders for the UK? Also 500 is really too low, I know Ariel sold out quickly for our friends across the pond at 1000, but she is the most popular princess so I feel like 1000 for Aurora would be fair. Fairer than 500 at least. The March Frozen girls still took like 45 minutes to sell out in North America, and that's with all the Frozen hype and people trying to trade for the November dolls, so I'm sure Disney can afford Europe a bit more than 500.

I can't believe they are only allocating 500 dolls for all of Europe. That's crazy. I thought it would at least be 1000.

Hope you all manage to get a doll. Good luck everyone!

Well the way I look At it is. Either order from USA to uk (where I am) and pay extra £25 or so customs and £35 shipping or pay over £250 on eBay rather pay £140 ish now then £250 plus in weeks or months ahead

After all the problems Disney faced in Europe back in March it also surprises me a bit that they haven't upped the European edition size to more than 500 around. What about at least 750? Even though 1000 would be a lot better...
I really hope I'm able to preorder from the US site tomorrow (well, today for the US people), so I don't have to buy the doll in Europe in October.

Congrats to everyone who was able to buy preorder in the stores - I'm envious XD

1st in line today! Got to see her in person, truly gorgeous! Im so happy! since shes in my top 2 faves! Disney really does make dreams come true!

I got my Aurora preorders today! My store got 20, but only sold 3. I waited an hour and they didn't sell more so they probably still have the others. She really is gorgeous in person!

Well this was the busiest pre-order I have ever been to! For other pre-orders I have arrived at 6am, but it seemed unnecessary so I decided to show up later today, my friend got there at 6am and I ended up running out my door because 8 people were already in line for the 9 dolls. Luckily (for me and my other friend) 3 girls left for some reason, and didn't come back before all the vouchers were given out, so we were able to order our dolls. I am really surprised at how this release went!

8 am. I think I'm going to try and pre order from US. Do they put a full temporary charge on your card?

I think so, although not sure. I think it's a "pending" charge of the full amount (or just $1) for them to verify that the credit card is actually good. But then you don't actually get charged til the doll ships. Polaris will know more about it.

Cute pic! She's so pretty!
Going to try pre order from the US tommorrow I would never usually do this as shipping and customs comes to more than the doll itself! But she's my favourite princess and don't wanna miss her.

My store got 14 dolls. I got there at 9:15 a.m. and I was #4 in line. By the time they opened at 10 a.m., only 7 people were there for the doll....I could have waited until 9:45 a.m. to drive there, lol

My store had 4 Aurora's for preorder left today. I couldn't afford to shell out $120 for her today but I know Disney doesn't charge your creditcard until they ship. So I will be up at 3 in the morning trying to get her. If not, screw it, I'm calling my store tomorrow morning and praying she is still available if I miss out online.
