Do you guys think there is a difference in quality and workmanship in the open edition pins vs. limited editions?
 
Hard to say. I did notice that most of my wants or most cherished pins are LE. So I guess I do unintentionally see a difference in quality, because I collect pins I really like instead of trying to be a completist.
 
I think it will depend on the pin, but in the large scale of things I would say no! I have seen LE with alot of flaws and pristeen OE pins! I think it just depends on the pin :)
