Another Friday, another pin release! About 20 villain lovers in line. Mild temperature and a light breeze - perfect so far! Looks like there's an updated security system in the side & back alley.

I arrived right as they cut off the line, but I got into the standby line. Since so few people showed up for wristbands, I got all three pins plus two of the new PTDs. (This morning was one of the only times where being towards the end of the line was beneficial. :) )
 
I am really surprised there was no surprise! But I'm happy everyone got the pins that they wanted (at least I assume so, since there were fewer than 400 there)! I can't wait to see them in person, I think the frames are really pretty pins.

i believe we would have had a surprise pin of some sort were it not for the many incredibly rude comments posted to DSSH's Facebook page when they announced that the release of the Capt. Hook pin was being delayed. For example, someone with serious entitlement issues had the gall to demand a Surprise Release of either the Frozen or Wreck-it-Ralph Beloved Tales pin.
 
They haven't done Scar or Gaston yet, so I'm guessing at least one other set of stained glass villains is pending. I am assuming that it will be released then.

I never expected a surprise release with this set. There were two surprises last week, and there weren't any with the previous stained glass release.
 
My cousin was so convinced there would be a surprise release today and I told him, "nah. 2 last week and a calendar coming up shortly...I doubt they one in the pipe..."

Glad the release went well. I heard it went smooth and DSSH was very fast in getting people in and out, even with the flip.
 
Oh yes. I overheard that it took about 5 hours last week to get through everyone (I was number 65 and got into the store in about an hour). I was the second to last person to purchase today and got my pins in about two hours hours, including a ten-ish minute break to switch out the PTDs. They had six registers open today so they were flying.
 
Cool PTDs :) Happy for the Aurora collectors! I think they need to release a second version of her in a slight different post in her blue dress though ;) Also, I would't mind in the least (please please please) if they released an Ariel as a mermaid PTD! And/or one other close up so she and Eric and match and be facing each other drink in their milkshakes <3

Annnnd I got sidetracked.

Anyway! I'v personally never been a huge fan of the Villain Stained Glass set. Something about he design downs;t do it for me. However, if they released a Gaston I might just break down! I collect him

Also off topic, but speaking of make villains, how many people would love a male designer villain set?? Gaston, Hades, Hans, we could have some eye candy going on!
