I use the ones above and the only time I lost a pin was when the post pulled off - but the back did stay connected to the post 
Theses are super awesome backs and I buy them in bulk from the gentleman called disneypatriot. I'll send you a link to his auction. That way when I get a new pin I want to wear, I have a locking back for them.

Oddly, they don't use their own locking backs for those. I asked a cast member why they don't use they product that they sell and the answer I got was that the service award pins come with the backs shown above.
