Looking for Opinions on this Inside Out Beloved Tales

I haven't completed this trade yet, but I received several photos and I'm looking for everyone's thoughts on authenticity.
I know this pin has been faked, but I'm not sure what the signs are. It looks good overall, but the flower appears to have dips in the paint. Any and all thoughts are welcome!

I've got no experience with these at all. Hopefully someone else will chime in who knows better.
When i look at the full size photo though, the lines inside the jacket seem pretty rough but i don't know if that is just the way that they make them now. Or even an illusion with the photo. Specifically i look at the sleeve on the left of the pin and that area the lines seem kind rough to me. But again, i have no experience with BT's so hopefully someone will chime in with better advice

Thanks starry! I didn't know that PTDB had that feature for learning about fakes. I will have to check them first from now on when looking for info. So do you think the one @archi_hoo is asking about is a fake or real based on the photos?

It looks like the one tell for a fake is the multi colored flower that Bing Bong is wearing. At least that feature matches up to the real version.

I'm such a dodo, i didn't realize until your post @mybabykelly that the colors and their order in the flower are different from the two examples. For some reason i was missing that. Thanks for pointing it out

We don't have it for all, but when the fake BTs / DTs came out, someone posted a comparison and I got permission to use the pictures

I also see some differences in Joy on the fake one too. There’s a line from her hair to her nose that’s not on the fake and her eyebrows are thicker. The mouth and eyes look slightly off as well.r

So... this is probably my pin in pinandpop (as I made a trade using this pin from my traders.) I will tell you I obtained the inside out pin from one of @Haunted575's game and I believe she will be able to confirm she obtained it directly from the original online release from DSSH. We could also probably look up the game where she would probably have stated this. I am going to look now.

In the initial post she notes she is the original owner of the Beloved Tales. This specific inside out BT pin is pictured at the bottom of post number 3.

I hope this info aids you @archi_hoo. I definitely only share this to put your mind at ease. Absolutely no pressure to make the trade in P&P. I will not be offended either way.
