I lost a small black camera while on a trip to DLR in early January. The only two places I can think that it could have been lost would have been at the pin tables or at airport security (they went through ALL of our carry on bags extensively--mostly because of the pins). (I suppose it could have been lost elsewhere at DLR but I don't know where).

We had a LOT of other things on our mind at the time (dealing with a sick kid, re-uniting our family and a 1-time 1 day trip to DLR).

We didn't discover the camera missing until well after we had returned home.

Our son is doing a little better so....I just now felt up to posting about it. I know there's only a tiny, tiny, remote chance that someone found it and is looking for the owner.

If you are that person and want to return it, I'd be happy to describe it in detail, in particular the make and model. And of course I would pay for shipping home.

Sorry, January. Honestly, with all we have been through, losing the camera is a small thing. But somehow I still want to see if I can find it.
 
i know that anything that goes to lost and found goes to the local goodwill for a disney day fair. I know there was one recently so I am sure if you lost it at disney, it would end up there .... If it is not sold, I am sure it is there in the store. PM me the description and I can keep an eye out for it and let you know if I see it. I can check when I go there. No-go at the Lost and Found. Great idea though. They had two other cameras from the same day. Close, but no cigar.
 
I might as well just tell everyone. It's a black, Sony RX 100. It's a very good point and shoot camera. We took it for a reunion with our son. Somewhere along the way we lost it but it seemed like it had to be either at DLR on Friday, January 4. Or Saturday morning, January 5 at the airport. It didn't make it back with us. The last I remember seeing it was at DLR on that Friday.

Long story with our son. He's had a hard time and is dealing with a lifelong condition that affects his autonomic nervous system. He's been away from home for months and we had one day together and then travel back to the east coast. He's now in a special school trying to catch up on some schoolwork.

This is really the first time I have had to worry about the camera and I know it's a really, really long shot.
