Seems like I have a lot of bad luck when it comes to pin trading and actually receiving my packages :(

I know for a fact that two were sent in early October (both traders have confirmed) but still nothing has got to me. Also my mum sent me two packages from New Zealand (one over 2 months ago and the other a month ago) and I still haven't received them either :(

Just feeling a bit down about the fact that my pins were received but I haven't got anything yet... and missing things from home

Anyone have any advice? I live in a housing complex and get emails each day if I have a package waiting for me at the front office - where all the mail is received.

So sorry to hear. I hate the feeling of knowing there is something out there that was intended for you but just never got there.

When I started having problems wit packages getting lost, I started having packages sent to my work where I knew someone would have to sign for the package.

Good luck with finding a solution!

As someone who has had more trouble with the USPS than any one human being should ever have, my best advice is to BE PERSISTENT if you think a package has been lost. Call them multiple times a day if you have to. Get people's names and work with the same individuals at the post office each time. Sometimes things get stuck in distribution centers before they make it to your local post office, which is a major pain, but at least they can locate them.

I used to live in an apartment complex that held packages at the front office and we'd also get an email when they arrived... When we first moved, all of my package emails sent right to spam. I know it sounds silly, but did you check your spam folders??

Did you have tracking on them? Do you know where and when they last were? I've heard stories of things taking ages in customs, but then I've received packages from Japan and Europe in three days, so it really does seem to be a crapshoot with the post office these days.

Good luck... I know how frustrating this is. I'm still waiting on a package shipped from Utah in MARCH with a Tangled Opening Day pin. We ended up finding a replacement (the seller was amaaazing and did so much to help me) but it's frustrating nonetheless that your packages haven't made it to you yet. :anxious:

Hopefully it works out for you. According to my mailman, a bunch of sorting facilities got closed so things have been much slower than they used to be (depending on your location). I mailed a package from MA to AL that took 15 days to arrive, which is ridiculous considering the UK trade I mailed out only took 8 days to get there. Hopefully your packages show up :)

I'm sorry! Have you tried checking with the front office to see if maybe they have something for you but missed notifying you somehow? My mail person seems to have a really difficult time actually getting the right packages to the right house. About three times now my packages have gone to who knows which neighbor and I have to wait for them to either bring it to me or give it back to her. Thats why I love when people send tracking information so I can see when it shows delivered but hasn't made it to me yet. Fortunately, my neighbors have all been honest but who knows when something will make it to someone dishonest? I agree with calling. Their customer service leaves MUCH to be desired but if you call and bug them about it it might be some help? Did your packages have tracking info? Can you use that to see where they are?

Hoping they show up soon! :x: I am sorry that you are dealing with this anxiety :anxious: I have been through it before myself! I do know that packages from overseas can take FOREVER though, so hopefully they show up soon!

i know its an ugly thought, but have you considered talking to the office manager about someone perhaps stealing your packages? We had that problem with one apt complex where the big packages went to the manager office. Especially if its the offices responsibilty to email you about a package being dropped off. The person was picking and choosing packages they thought would have better stuff, but not HIGH dollar stuff. Clepto wacko. If some of your packages look like they are from out of country, the person may be banking on you assuming it is stuck in customs or something.

Thank you for all your kind words and advice, I'll talk to the front desk next time i'm up there and just try not to think about the packages and hope they show up someday soon :)
I have asked for tracking numbers but for the packages from New Zealand our postal service doesn't really do that for international items and one of the pin trades was from Paris and he didn't have a number either :/
