It has been on my bucket list to meet Scoop while I'm here in Orlando and it just so happened that today when I had planned to pin trade around the resorts and MK, my friend and I were walking up Main St just as he was riding the trolley up towards the castle! We followed him to where he stopped by the Plaza restaurant and got a picture and he told us to come and see him at 1pm (in the meantime we went to go meet Rosetta because she was back in Tinkerbell's nook but that's another story)

So we came back at 1pm and learned how everything works with Scoop - and lined up to trade. He was so kind, remembering our names from our brief interaction earlier in the day, and allowing us to trade with him..... and then the biggest shocker that I was NOT expecting - he presents both me and my friend with one of his continuing the tradition pins - signed by the man himself :eek2:



Cue me and my friend on the floor.

I also traded for Pin 46926: WDW - Jasmine Hinged Stained Glass from his lanyard but wow this was probably the best pin trading day ever!
 
Wow congrats on the pin he's such a nice guy right he gave me that pin in November you get such a nice feeling when he gives you that pin right! You wanna shout it out to all the people around you in the park lol I'm glad you got to meet him
 
He really is great! He let the kids go first and even skipped a couple of people to trade with me and my friend because we'd never traded with him before - I could see a couple of regulars so it's really nice that he does that. Makes me feel good about being a pin trader!
 
He done this for me the other people where American in the Que. And I was the only person that had travelled far he skipped the other people and got me to pick a pin before them I said they are first but he said You have travelled the furthest lol
 
Scoop is awesome. We have known him so long that we are personal friends on Facebook. My husband and I were both awarded our Scoop pins in September.

What are good kinds of pins to bring to trade with him, or does he trade pretty much anything?

Im pretty sure he will trade anything, I had only brought my lanyard traders with me (wasn't expecting to see him!!) but I would have brought my better traders and given him one of those. As it was I traded a nice Ariel that I had two of
