I wanted to ask about the following pins,

Pin 55496: HKDL - Mister Incredible Running
Pin 85347: HKDL - Mister Incredible Running (ARTIST PROOF)

Pin PD46996: HKDL - Mister Incredible Running
Pin PD95535: HKDL - Mister Incredible Running (ARTIST PROOF)

Both the regular listings say this pin is unauthorized, and yet it has an AP listing?? Dose anyone know anything about this pin? And about HK APs?

could it be that the pin was just stamped AP by someone??

(on a side note i love and hope DPP will allow you to keep trading unauthorized and fantasy pins)

It doesn't say the pin is 'unauthorized' necessarily, just that unauthorized versions have been sold from China (i.e., scrappers).

Since the normal pin also has information stating that it was never officially released in 2005 or 2006, one possible explanation is that it was designed with the intent to be released in HKDL (thus legit APs were sent for proofing), and then for whatever reason they chose not to release it (possibly because of the Superman pose similarity?). But since APs were made, the Chinese factory had the mold made and probably even made some number of pins, and they dumped them on the 'scrapper market'.

I can't verify that's the case of course, but assuming it's not an out-right counterfeit pin, that's a likely possible scenario of its origin.

I don't know anything about that pin, but I agree about being able to trade fantasy pins! There are some really great ones out there. I'm glad we have the ability to put them on our trades and wants. :)

the pin is listed as Unauthorized in pin pics and unable to trade for the pin. But you are right it has a scrapper warning on the listing also for some reason. It would not be the first time this happens much like the PATF stain glass set

Could the "Unauthorized" happened when they started the conversion to the new site, as if I remember correctly, some pins had the classifications changed accidentally when the new site came online.
