Now that I am back from WDW, I decided to post "my haul" and a few cast member trading stories. (Below). The first photo has items that all are up for trade. Yes, it's a lot of hidden mickeys, but they all seem legit (more on that below) with good weight, no borders paint issues, etc. The only scrapper is my alice diamond pin, but I am keeping her anyway. And although the Alice heart is a DL pin, I checked her out and she also has good weight, no paint, etc and she was the only one I saw my entire time there. I talked to a few people who had done both parks, so my guess is someone, maybe even a kid, had one and traded to a CM.

I'll post a separate trading thread in a bit. The cell phone pin you can't really see is Belle.

Notes:
I noticed a lot less in terms of fakes this trip. I don't know if I got lucky and hit a refresh, or if Disney is more on top of cleaning up boards and lanyards. I did notice significantly fewer CMS with lanyards (i.e. no one at the check desk this time etc.) I am wondering if having fewer of these to update is making it easier to refresh, but just speculation on my part.

So a few cast member trading moments:

I was walking down the street in Hollywood studios and all of a sudden a cast member sees me and goes "Pst, you, come here" and crooked his finger at me. I wondered over to him. Since it was chilly out (by FL standards, this New Englander was in shorts) he had a coat on and then just whips a lanyard out from underneath it
with a lot of the newer HMs on it and asked if he hadanything i wanted. And that's how I got the Kevin pin.

And my favorite:
I walked into my hotel one afternoon and there were two managers standing there talking. I politely asked one of them if I could I trade for his Russel Pin.
Manager #1 " Sure, but you'll have to tell me which one Russell is."
Me (pointing) "That one."
Manager #2 "Way to know your characters, Doug."
Manager #1 (pause) "Well, I know which one Dug is."

I think I traded with the same hollywood studios CM on our Xmas trip!
He was at the entrance to one of the stores on the main street, and he was very in character!

I had an excellent time. Now I just figure out how to get back there some day. =)

Also, I wasn't sure about the donut pins, but after seeing them "in person" I really like them. Unfortunately I traded a cast member for one and attached it to my back pack and it fell off somewhere in the park. =(

Those pins are really awesome! Thanks for sharing! I have a really noobish question though. Are the chaser pins found in the mystery packs, or only on cast lanyards?

Wow what a haul glad you had a good time! I found it easy to get them up pins is on board walk in the shop there they all had some of them up pins and I managed to get them all for my up collection
