Mystery Pin Packs - Yellow, Red, Purple

Does anyone know if these different color pin packs always contain Hidden Mickeys from the same year?

For instance, does the yellow pack always include pins from 2013, or are they all random years?

I believe they include pins from different years. If there's a copyright on the back of the bag, it should hopefully help. But it should be Hidden Mickeys from the year prior, as I recall. It's been a while since I bought those packs.

Thanks for the response. My theory is that the purple ones are 2013 hidden mickeys. The red and yellow are from years before that. But, I haven't bought enough, and probably won't, to completely test the theory.

I asked the same question on Sunday to a CM in the Trading Post. They pulled out a binder from behind the counter and showed me that the different colors are different years. I believe the yellow pack was 2011, the blue and purples were 2012 and 2013 (don't remember which was which). Next time you are there ask and they will show you exactly what is available in those packs.

There is also wave A and wave B for 2013. I thought there was a red metallic bag too?
