OK, I have been stumped on a trade, and I thought I would ask everyone here what they thought of it.

I originally made this trade offer:

broncobilly83 offers <anonymous> this pin: [pinpics]90465[/pinpics] (DSF - El Capitan Marquee - Disney Pixar's Brave)
In return for one of these pins:
[pinpics]43967[/pinpics] (Disney Auctions - Football Series ( Scrooge and Nephews ))

And they came back with

broncobilly83 offers <anonymous> this pin: [pinpics]90465[/pinpics] (DSF - El Capitan Marquee - Disney Pixar's Brave) AND [pinpics]57695[/pinpics] (DisneyShopping.com - Stitch as Cheshire Cat Halloween Dress-Up Series Pin)
In return for one of these pins:
[pinpics]43967[/pinpics] (Disney Auctions - Football Series ( Scrooge and Nephews ))

Now, the Football pin is one of most wanted, but it is not on it's original card, and there have been a few of them on E-Bay lately, going for the value of either one of the requested pins, so I am worried about potential scrappers, as I did not expect to find 5+ auctions on E-Bay for a DA100.

Should I follow my heart about this is one of my most sought after pins, or follow that little voice in my head that is telling me the price is too high, especially since we do not know if it is legit, or a scrapper. I checked their feedback, and they only have 3 feedback since 2010?

Normally, I would say for grails that you have difficulty even finding, that if your original costs for the pins you were sending is less than the going rate for the pin you are getting, you might as well do it. Because I've never regretted trades once I have them in hand, and as the years go by I can't even remember what I traded for them. But when you throw in that suddenly multiples of this pin are showing up, and this one is without card... that makes me nervous.

There are 8 ended auctions on Ebay and 7 of them are all by the same seller. They are re-lists.

It depends on how you acquired those 2 traders, if you bought them at face value, then maybe you can go for it. If you boguht them in second market or traded for them (and gave up dearly) then think twice.

They are always good friends who would be willing to shop Ebay for you, ya'know ;)

Maybe you could ask to see photos? I once did a trade where I traded away an LE50 pin which has been scrappered ALOT so I was more than happy to send the person a whole heap of photos to show it was a real one. Or you could ask how they got it? The backstory of a pin can be both useful to support its authenticity and just kinda fun to read :)

OH, I know I can ask for help on E-Bay, no worries, LOL. I do try and trade though, it is the fun of the hobby.

No, I did not get these two at cost or anywhere near cost. What I got the Cheshire for is close to what I could one of the E-Bay Scrooges for. But what I got the Brave Marquee for would definitely make it a lopsided trade, which I would be willing since this is a grail, if I could be sure of it's authenticity

True, but I am no expert, so I would not know what I am looking at in the photos. Backstory might help, but then I look at feedback? Three trades since 2010? If it was someone with a lot of feedback, I might be less hesitant without the card.
