It has been a while since I have dealt with any of the older high end PTNs out of DLP events, but I recently got an offer for my Trade 99049 DSSH – Frozen - Elsa Stained Glass - Surprise Pin

They offered:
- Pin 47414 DLRP - Pin Trading Night - Belle
- Pin 100630 DLP - Pin Trading Event Wizards and Witches - Sorcerer Mickey (Give Away)
- Pin 61143 HKDL - Disney Carousel - Mystery Tin Collection - 10 Pin Set - Pluto Only

Now, the carousel pin, while nice, is just something I have on my wants if I can get the entire set. The Sorcerer Mickey pin would be for Betsy's collection, the concern/question I have is the PTN - Belle pin...

This pin would be a trader for me, but it has been so long since I had one of these older PTNs, are they still trading well? Would you consider the offer equal to/close to the Elsa pin?

Help me, DPF :anxious:

To be honest I'd say no .
Looking at eBay alone the pin you have sold for nearly $300 Not too long ago . The Belle pin has been listed and not sold for $200 a few times , I can't find an actual sold value for it . The Sorcerer Mickey is nice , it hasn't shown up in a while but I doubt it'd go for more than $60 , top end .
Also in terms of trading value , I'd think the Elsa you have is probably the most sought after Frozen pin available .

I would also say no. That Elsa is definitely a better trader than all of those. I would only suggest trading her for something that you know 100% would fit into your collections.

Just my two cents, without looking at ebay prices or similar:
It does not look like an unfair deal, I think it really depends whether you "need" the Elsa pin for some huge grail, or you consider a better option to "split" the value of the pins.
It also depends on your views on the frozen hype and on the future value of frozen pins.
Well, not much of an advice I come to notice ;)

I finally traded mine after I got the pin I would have liked to trade it for. I think it was a lopsided trade, but none-the-less, I still wanted the pin they were trading. Maybe not PTN Elsa badly, but I had no more need for her anymore as I had the pin I had set aside to trade for it.

if the belle sat in your trade book for the next 2 years would you regret trading off the elsa..

for me ill undertrade in 'street value' for keepers but not for traders..
