Need help with pin 79171

Hi All,
I picked up this pin on Saturday in a trade at DLR.

When I went onto pinpics it says the origin is unauthorized and Pins of this origin may not be traded on Pin Pics. Does anyone know why? I hope it's not a fake!

Unauthorized means that it was a pin that was not released by Disney or licensed by them to be released. It is essentially what is considered a fantasy pin. There are many out there and some of them are done quite nice. I for instance have pin 20667 pictured below. It is a fantasy pin, but I collect Stitch with ducks so I love it. If the pin is nice and it is for your collection then keep it. If not I am sure you can find other collectors of either Aristocats or cats that would trade it to you just like normal.
