I have a huge jumbo castle pin that I'm framing with the 5 smaller stained glass window pins around it. Since all the castles are either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, do you think it would work to use different princesses for each castle or just those two? Thanks.
 
Sounds like it will be a nice frame set. Putting all of them together would look really nice. I have a Sleeping Beauty Castle mat with 12 Tinker Bell monthly flower pins from Paris framed together. I wondered the same thing but decided I would probably not get a mat of the Paris Castle so put them together and I am happy with it.

And what princess pins are you planning to use? If you just use Aurora and Cinderella, would you use 3 Cindys and 3 Auroras, or just one of each? Where are you placing them in relation to the castles?

So far, I'm leaning towards no princesses at all. I think the castles would be pretty by themselves. But it really depends on your answers to my above questions.

You got the jumbo right, but I'm using the Stained Glass Window pins and a pin of each princess that I think matches the location. Like Cinderella - WDW, Sleeping Beauty - DLR, Belle - DLRP, Mulan - HKDL, and I'm stuck on Tokyo but maybe Snow White. There would be a princess and a castle:

hmm, I'd be stuck on Tokyo too. Maybe you could put Mulan between HKDL and Tokyo? I know Mulan is Chinese, but that's also Asian and both HKDL and Tokyo are in Asia...but maybe Jasmine (I know it's supposed to be Arabia, but the original story of Aladdin is from China [and Aladdin himself is supposed to be Chinese])
 
I think Snow White would work with the Tokyo castle since one of the castles it is based on is the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany

I tend to think it would be prettiest to let the stained glass shine by itself. The princesses would only be a distraction for me, personally. And I would not want to have to explain to everyone I show the frame to, that the story of Beauty and the Beast took place in France, and Aladdin was originally Chinese, and all that.

If you do end up using 5 princesses, it would at least work visually, even if it doesn't work logically. But I'm really having a hard time picturing just two princesses. So if you must use any princesses, I agree with PP that five would be best.

Steve, thanks so much for your suggestion. Now I have to find ANOTHER pin :) I've been thinking this over and I decided that I'm going to go with just the jumbo pin and the windows. There is a small window that looks very similar in the center of the jumbo castle so I'm thinking this will be best. But until I actually get it into the frame.....my mind is subject to chance :)
