Hi Everyone. I've sporadically bought pins the past 7+ years and have traded with CM for fun on occassion, but I'd say I'm still relatively new. I don't trade with other traders as I don't really have anything to offer the experienced collector. The family and I are heading down to WDW in December and looking forward to trading with CM. But I'm curious as to the state of scrappers on CM laynards these days. Seems several years ago the community was pushing efforts to counter this but of recent not so much. Have scrappers taken over the CM trading? I posted two other more detailed posts on this if anyone would mind providing feedback.
Also, I'd like to track down some LE, rares while I'm there, either to purchase or trade for. Suggestions on some specific pins or sets out there now and where to hunt for them at WDW? Last what about some unique hot spots aside from the Disney Springs hub? I heard about the one at Animal Kingdom Lodge with the Giraffe, more suggestions? And I just read about Scoop but now he's done trading. I may just end up dragging the kids all over the parks and resorts just to see pins lol. Appreciate all the suggestions you can give. Thanks!

First hi and welcome to dpf I would suggest going to the Epcot tables as that's where I found most of the genuin hidden mickeys but be careful there as they mite try and get you to buy a pin from the shop for there pin as they say there's is worth a lot more than yours these are called sharks and stay well away from these people and right next to the tables there is the main pin store and they have le pins there to build up your traders there is a main pin store in each park but Epcot is the only place that has tables to put your pins on I would check pinpics to see how many people are wanting the le pins that's available and buy a couple of the ones that a lot of people are wanting hope this helps Damien :)

Are you planning on visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during your visit? I can tell you that "Sally the Giraffe" pin board comes out nightly from 6:30pm-7:00pm but if you ask a Cast Member he/she will bring the board out for you to trade with. We usually keep the board stocked with the latest Hidden Mickey pins, although that mostly depends on when I am there. If you let me know ahead of time I will make sure you are able to trade for some of the new HM pins.

Thank you Damiens and PinFanatic for feedback. Damiens, ty, I like the suggestion of checking pinpics and then buying some of the wanted pins. Not sure if I'm bringing my book of pins yet but will be trying to hit all the hot spots. PinFanatic, yes we will be swinging by the lodge in order to see the pin board and maybe dinner but mostly pins, so I'll need to check the itinerary (Dec 6th-12th) for which nights are free. Very kind of you to offer your services. When I'm there would it be appropriate to inquire about PinFanatic just to say hello?
