I have been trying to get some of my pins out of the curio cabinets and into frames, even had the frames and stuff, just need to do it! So I finally did get one done...it is what I have in the way of Valentine's Day Jessica pins; I am sure it will change at some point when I get more that will fit the category! :) Hope it looks okay!

I cut a hole in the canvas to let the heart spin on the Goofed-Up Valentine's Day pin, only to find out that the Mickey head backer prohibits it from spinning anyway!

I am not fully satisfied with it, but it will work until I get more puns for the Valentine's display! :bigthumb:

Love it! That's it ~ I'm backing away from the computer and going to finish my AIW board so I can put my pins on it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you all! :) I have it hung up on the wall! :bigthumb:

The heart being able to spin free in the frame would have been awesome...don't want to mess up the post backer though to allow it to move!

I assume only part of the mickey head pin back is blocking the heart from spinning? Can you cut it somehow to allow it to move freely? All you really need is the small part of rubber that holds onto the pin post. Pin backs are a dime a dozen anyway :)

Great display! Looks very snazzy!

Wow looks great I think you should get another one of them envelope pin and have it open so you can see what's inside put it on the oppisite side to the other one just a suggestion thanks for sharing!

Thank you everyone!!! :bigthumb:

I am looking for a non-Mickey post backer, and I think the heart will spin then! :D

I would have the envelope pin open, however, there is no locking mechanism and the pin falls back shut when the frame is in an upright position, unfortunately! :/

Oh, wow. The entire thing just screams "Jessica's Valentine's". Very nice!

I've had trouble keeping pins in position, opened or from spinning and I found these double sided sticky dots at an office supply store. They're about the diameter of a pencil eraser and come in packs of like 200 for $5 but the ones I've used on my pin boards have been there for more than five years and are still sticky. Just a thought. :)

Thanks so very much!!! :D

Do the sticky dots leave any residue on the pins at all? I would love to try using them as long as the pins don't have anything on them when the dots are removed! :bigthumb:

They do leave a little residue, kind of like a bandaid does on skin. I make sure they're only placed on the metal and no paint areas, though, and an alcohol swab clears them right up for none worse the wear. :)

Thank you!!! :)

I will definitely have to try those out! :) It would be wonderful to see Jess and Roger on the on pin! :)

Kik...when you get one done, I would love to see it!!! :bigthumb:
