I am a clothing desinger and have been asked alot about custom lanyards and bigger lanyards. Do to the need for other lanyard styles and size. I will soon have a web site just for this need. We make sum lanyards that are always ready and can also make sum changes and what not with our custom lanyards. We will have many diffrent prints to pick from or you can always get a solid color.

Our lanyards are custom made to be bigger and better than any other lanyard on the market. Our reg. Lanyard is made with a 2 inch strap. Disney lanyard are 7/8. I am not trashing disney. I wear there lanyard when i want a print that i can not buy or use. If some one wants a extra long or real short lanyard, we can do that. Anything is posable with a little time and know how.

I make my own out of strapping material from WalMart. i love the lengths (I am a big guy) but would like double or more width.
 
Well lets see.... Mayb you would like a custom lanyard. You can pick your color or print and than tell us how long you want it to b. Im not sure what you get at wally world. But we use nylon strap or webbing and it is very high end. The brake point is well over 800lbs. I cant give names... But these starps are used for big shark nets in sum parks we all know and love.

Custom lanyards can be made in whatever size you like......

Yes we do have a site. It is still being made behiend the seens, so I have not let the name out yet.. But i will post it soon. It will b easy to remember and clear as to what we make. As Soon As the Logo is done. We will release the name of site and the first preview page will be up.

** Its All About The Pins**
 
Another good source for "wider" lanyards is the Hard Rock Cafe's guitar strap. It has the wider area that people desire and a velcro "closure" at the bottom.

One thing that you may want to know, one reason Disney discontinued the wider lanyard was compaints about neck pain. Seems that pin traders took advantage of the wider size to double up the pins. And while each pin only weight an once or two, some people managed to get 5+ lbs of pins on the lanyards. When worn constantly, the strain does take its toll.
 
thank you for the info. due to the fact that we are fans and pin traders our selfs, we read and or listen close to what we are told. The goal is to make a user friendly lanyard that is of the size ppl would like. Just because we make one that can hold 500lbs is by no way us telling you to get crazy. each user has to find what works for them.

** Alwasy remember we make Custom Lanyards also. So you can pick the size you want.***

thats looks like atleast +3 on the duck feet. +2 cross bones. glad to see the donald and POTC fans are here.. I will try to get a update as to what prints are available. I belive we have sumthing for most disney fans. We can not use disney art and in no way want to step on toes. We are Disney and pin fans that are tring to fill a need in our hobby.

i have only seen the wine color wide lanyard from wdw. Its that lanyard and a pin fan that started me thinking of a need in our hobby. Disney is not making that right now and many ppl still want a wide lanyard. So we have made new wide lanyards in a number of colors and prints. We even make custom lanyards. i hope that everyone likes what we are working on and i look foward to meeting lots of traders in the months to come. Its summer time!!!!
