New Lion Kings pins at Harambe Nights ticketed event at WDW Animal Kingdom
From everything that I'm seeing, I think that one of three things is happening. Either:

A - the Disney blog has incorrect information; there will be a separate pin for the event but they used the puzzle pieces in the blog post by mistake.

B - there won't be a separate pin for the event; they will sell the puzzle pieces there but they aren't exclusive to the event.

C - There could be an event-exclusive pin as well as the puzzle set sold at the event.


The fact that the puzzle will also be sold here in DLR means that the set is not event-exclusive, at any rate.
 

I agree OR the pins will be released first at the event and then sold in the parks after (any left overs). Which doesn't really explain why it shows up at DLR too though.
 

That's what was confusing me. There's no Animal Kingdom in DLR, yet these pins will be sold there. Let's cross our fingers and hope they're accessible across all the parks.
 
-cries- So much beautiful Lion King items. I'd love the t-shirt ,an iPhone case and the pins. And what is this I hear of the pins only being released at WDW? I planned a trip to DLR just for these pins next week..
 
Wait...so...

Im so confused...it looks like they'll sell what they can there and then all the other parks get the leftovers if there are any...

This makes me sad...i want to try and put together that puzzle...but i feel like if its only going to be at that event, then that just got a whole lot harder to do...

 
Taken directly from the Disney Parks Pin Site....

"Please note that this item will be released at the Harambe Nights events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on June 7 and June 14. If there are any quantities remaining after June 14, they will be shared with additional locations starting June 19."

So with that information, it looks like the rest of WDW's parks will NOT be getting the Lion King puzzle set. However, it does NOT explain what happens with Disneylands. UGH!!!!

That's what's confusing: it's being released in both parks, according to disneyparksmerchandise, but the website also states that the pins will be exclusively released at the Harambe Nights in Animal Kingdom which is only in WDW, and that any leftovers will then be sold across all the parks. There are obvious discrepancies with the release information according to the website. We'll just have to wait and see.


I have a friend heading to the parks this weekend. I specifically asked them to look for the Lion King puzzle set for me. I will report whatever findings she reports to me XD
 
Oh no, so none of the 2 people who were going to help me, can't anymore now because of that

Could someone who is going the first 2 weekends pick up the pins for me aswell? *puppy eyes*
 
Dang it, this change is throwing off my entire plan for Lion Ling pins. I hope that there are at least a few boxes left over for Disneyland after the two Harambe Nights days.
 
Im going to the first harambe night. If i get doubles i will post wich ones i have an we can trade
