I just happened to wake up at quarter to 2. No alarm or anything. I figured since I was up, why not check the site?
I would just rather pay double to Disney for the set than have to trade or buy it from someone at the cost of an arm or leg...
I'm sure if you give people time to get their shipments, someone will sell it at a more reasonable price or auction it like you did your Elsa PTN.
We are quite upset with the way the US Disney Store has been handling new pin releases for quite a while now. They really should announce when something new will be released, that way it is fair for all collectors. They already do this on the UK Disney Store, so I really do not understand why it is so hard to do the same thing on the US Disney Store. The second thing I do not agree with is the timing for new pin releases. New pins are always posted at 3:00 AM ET (12:00 AM PT). This is very unfair for residents living in the Eastern Time Zone since most people are sleeping at 3:00 AM ET. How do you guys feel?
Not to mention wanting to just sleep peacefully lol. It's not just the East Coast. Releases are hard for everybody, or at least everybody who happens to have a schedule and/or responsibilities that prevent staying up freakishly late or waking up freakishly early. It's not like waking up at 2 a.m. is that much easier than waking up at 3. If you live any distance from a park, you're going to have significantly fewer opportunities to get in on releases. And I agree it sucks and I would vastly prefer announced releases like in the UK, but why is it always about playing the game of I Have It More Sucky Than You?
