Sorry couldn't read all the response but I personally think they are meh. I saw them right around the time they showed up but chose to pass because I liked the box more than the pins lol. I also haven't been happy with the last 4-5 sets that I purchased from DSO, they have been flimsy, poorly made and stink to high hell.

I see this movie blowing up, the previews have been awesome, the story line is a new take that will show a different side of Maleficent and I don't think they could have found a better actress for the part. We shall see

Sorry to hear that not everyone was able to get these pins. And Kudos to those who did! Nice set of pins.

As for the complaints about 3am releases at DisneyStore.com, it has been this way for years and it is nothing new. I remember the good ol' days when people would set their alarms for 11:45pm/2:45am, hop into the chat room, and see what would pop up. Sometimes lots, sometimes nothing. They've never told us what was coming out. It has always been a luck of the draw.

Ah, the good ol' days.

Good luck folks.

How could you want Disney to actually want to stop making pins completely? How in the world would you get your pins that other people want and you ask for a counter offer of a trade way in your way in your favor? I hope you do get this set but treated the same way you trade out. Karma is a *****?

You are not very good at offering pins that are fair in a trade either. I have the right to say no to people's requests, just like every else does.

That is not the only reason as to why Disney should stop making pins, the other reason is because Disney cast members at the pin trading nights and at the parks, and I am sure at DSF all the time get harassed at and yelled at for no reason. There is no need to get mad at these people or get close to being violent with them who are just doing their job. Some of the people at these events act like such children over little pieces of metal.

I am at peace that I did not get a set. I really could care less. They are just metal. If I get a set one day, great, if not, ok. Pins and other materialistic things in life are not important. If that is all that matters to a person in life that is really sad.

i might have gotten the pin set. If the order went through, I am trading this set as I do not collect maleficent. So if anyone wants to trade pm me

The UK store site doesn't tell us before anything is released either...

Sure they do. If you go to the pin page on the UK Disney Store site you can see a picture of an Up 5th Anniversary pin with the edition size (500), price (£9) and the release date (May 8th).

Just a heads up, this set is being released on the UK site on May 22nd! So there's another chance to get them for some people. The banner still says LE 300 though, and no mention of worldwide release, which is strange.

Yup, in the UK though it's 40 pounds which is equivalent to $67 roughly and after high shipping fees from the US, I'd say the set will cost about $90-100 for anyone looking to get it from the UK, which is better than the eBay prices so far
