New Postal Rates for LBE's - OUCH!!
Even though shipping a pin in a normal envelope, and only the pin in bubble wrap, it immediately adds 2 € extra, because the stuff inside isn't 'flat'. Outrages!

To the US is now 4,30 € I believe for 1 pin (up to 5).
To Europe about 3,70 € for 1 pin, up to 5.

Sending 1 pin registered inside Europe is now a whopping 13,50 €

OMG! I am so in shock...I just mailed a 1 of 2 LBEs to Europe and I have normally paid $6.55 for first class international. It was $9.45  and it was only 2.7 oz. I asked the post man if the prices went up thinking maybe he made a mistake and he told me yes they went up a little. :banghead: that's not a little.

Ok a Edit: I just saw a message that said it has to be under 2.1 oz for $6.55. I don't remember what oz I shipped before except I found a pin I shipped at 3.40 oz that cost the same at $9.45. They really don't say what ounce cost what at USPS.com expect that there was a price increase on 1/26.

I will update again when I ship the next pin I hope that is under 2.1 oz.

wow, $1.93, how long will it stay that high?

US Postal rates are adjusted annually in January for inflation, unless a special rate increase has been granted. In this case the Post Office was granted a "temporary" increase of an additional $0.02 along with the inflation adjustment of $0.01 for first class mail (more for additional ounces and international mail / package rates).

The $0.02 surcharge will expire in 2017. However with inflation, the price will likely stay the same due to normal inflation rates. A good excuse to stock up on "forever" stamps before rates change.

Sent 2 yesterday normally 5.93 for both ,want up to 7.10 for both and these wre in the USA
I guess that's not bad ,especially the way I pkg them up,I hate to trade overseas now
