Hi,
A few hours ago, I listed these pins on pinpics. They were released in May this year. They are all gift pins acquired by purchasing raffle tickets. Each raffle ticket is 500 Yen and you have to purchase 5 raffle tickets to get one of these pins.

I am not very good at adding these other pins, because I was unable to make them larger, but they were released at the Disney Stores in Japan for 790 YEN each. The cast members said these were limited editions of 500, but were not marked on the back of the pins. They are now listed on pinpics. I hope you can see them better there.

Note: The other Stitch in a barrel from the movie was listed by someone else today on pinpics and is so worth taking a look at.

Hi Bill,
According to my Tokyo pin pal, the prizes were selected goods from the store itself, like plushes, key chains, and things like that. After you bought 5 raffle tickets and either got or didn't get what you wanted from what was being offered in these raffles, you were given one of these Stitch pins as a gift.

And you know what? The cards are the size of postcards and the sketches match the pins, with the exception of the skull one.

I agree. Japan has the cutest pins. I have 4 more new pins to list, but it took forever just to get these 4 pins listed, so I will do them tomorrow. These are totally different from the ones above and so very cute.

Just a heads-up, there's another Stitch pin with a similar design and style that (as far as I can tell) was also recently released in Japan. It's a larger pin, with Stitch hiding in a barrel. His head sticks out over the top of the barrel, and the head is a "bobble" or "swing" element. The pin's really stylized and cute. I got it Thursday and meant to photograph it and put it on pinpics, but I wound up trading it off today at the My D-Pins event. ._. My bad.

Hi leopardpolksdotspots,
I have a pin pal that lives in Tokyo. We have been trading for 5 years now. I get her whatever she asks me to get and she does the same for me.

Gloomy, I have that pin too, but ran out of time and was unable to list it on pinpics. This is one of the 4 pins I said I would be back here to show pictures of. I just do not have the time to do it right now. I do like the pin you traded away a lot though. It is adorable!

Oh how adorable! Japan makes such amazing pins! I love all of them but I think this one is my favorite:

Hi,
I am so glad you guys like these as much as I do. It is so hard to pick a favorite right now, but I am excited to have them.

As JAllenWood said,
Very cute pins. Heck, I think I'd rather have the pins than the prizes. :)
I know, me too! LOL

Hi Pauly,
Everyone has different taste. I like all of the pins from Japan, because they are unique in their own way. Are there much more beautiful pins of Stitch? Yeah, tons more! These are posted only to let everyone know about them, in case they want them.

jroxxfoo, I am now wondering if you are thinking of the other Stitch in a barrel. That is the one from the movie and is not posted yet. The ones above have nothing to do with the viewing of the movie. You can only get these if you are at the convenience stores in Japan buying the raffle tickets.

Notice that the one posted above has Stitch and Scrump in the barrel. The one from the movie only has Stitch alone inside the barrel, comes on a different card, and also has a head that moves.

Thanks so much for posting these! We don't always get to see the new pins from Japan. I'm sure a lot of people will want these!

Hi leopardpolksdotspots.
The next time you make a trade with a trader from Japan, just plain ask them if they want to be your pin pal. Explain that you will get pins for them in return for pins from Japan. Hey, it never hurts to try, right?

Hope it works out for you. Sometimes there is a bit of a language barrier, and in those cases, it will be harder to do, because neither of you may understand what each other is asking for, or how the trade will be executed. So you want to be sure you can communicate well with a pin pal. Good luck!
