New Surprise Release Alice in Wonderland WDI LE 250 Pins

It looks like some new Alice in Wonderland pins were a surprise release at a D23 event recently, and they are very cool little pins. I tried to pick up a collection of them on Ebay, but I was soundly trounced in a last minute bidding war. So I suppose I'll be adding them to my wants list. Sigh . . .

Ooo cute!! I thought the D23 event wasn't until August?? Hmmm ...

edit ... oops, ok apparently I'm more outta touch than I thought, lol! There was a D23 event earlier this month! So I guess I'll be putting these pins on my want list now too!!

What a cute set! I love how they have a pin for pretty much every major character. And they're nice and simple too, which I like.

I love the way they've incorporated each character's iconic phrase into the background (Curiouser and Curiouser, Hello Good-bye, More Tea?, Who R U). You can't see it as much in the photo I posted, but if you look at the individual pin photos on Ebay, you can see the words in the background. I'm really hoping someone from the DPF managed to pick these up so we can trade for them.

I know these pins look great. Besides the phrases I love how the words make the background like the teacup for the mad hatter or the wave of water for Alice in the bottle. This month has been very busy for Alice collectors.
