New to the Forum, pin trading since December 2002.
My name here ends in Diznee, the reason when I first did Instagram, I did Disney_David and when I came back the next day, they said it wasn't allowed, so I thought Disney wasn't allowed. Thought about doing David_loves_Walt, but ended up with Diznee instead since I do lor what Walt started and Disney. Not everything they have done or are doing, just overall. I've collected pins for over 23 years, starting back in 2002, however I lived in Pennsylvania at the time. For roughly 17 years I didn't know what a fake was. When I found out I went through my pins, first slowly and had help from 2 people, pin by pin would go through some, finally, they told me that I had to learn and go through my pins. I did, 3 piles of pins, ones I thought were Authentic, Fake and not sure. Was mostly right on the first two piles, the third like we went through and I learned so much. From there learning about fakes had grown, to where I have a passion to help people learn about fakes and things to know on different pins. I go to some pin events and have a table, I bring fakes to show and teach. An 8 to 9 hour event, I can spend 5 to 6 hours teaching people. Pins after not a business for myself, they are a love. My overall top 3 are 3rd - Maleficent in Human or Dragon form, 2nd - The only Official Disney Princess not in a Disney Film - Merida, it's Pixar film, and 1st - Walt. Overall, pins with lots of detail. My favorite pins are Artland. The 101 Dalmatians Stained Glass is the most beautiful, the Pin on Glass are my favorite of all pins. I have been posting on FB, IG, TikTok and even YouTube about fakes. I hope to help people here.
