New York City Disney Store

Does anyone know if the CM's wear pin trading lanyards yet or if the store sells pins ? My husband and I are going this Thursday and need to know if I should throw a few traders in my purse . Thanks in Advance !

I wish my local Disney store had CMs with lanyards!

When I went to the Disney Store last December, the CMs did NOT wear lanyards for trading and the store did sell pins but either currently was sold out or I couldn't find a CM who could find any in the back. From what I understand, they don't have a large supply of pins and when they get them in, they sell out - and what I didn't know at the time was that you might need to be really persistent and keep asking CMs to look for these shiny pieces of metal until you find one who knows for sure if they're sold out or where to look for them (they might have them and just not know it).

no more lanyards for trading but they have pins for sale, not as much as they used to carry at the 5th ave location.

I have seen NY store pins at our local oulet in Round Rock the other day for the bargain price of $5.99, didn't care for them though.

Thank goodness my hubby said someone told him the NY store was no more and I LOVE NY pins... thank goodness =)

That is what I heard too, no more NY store. I will check for you if they have anything left after Labor Day sales.

Times Square Store Report- RUMOR

I live two blocks from the store. The inventory is much less than when it first opened, but they do have some pins. A lot of Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the Gang. A fun one with Chip and Dale eating lunch as high rise construction workers.... a few tinker bells... I'd have to go back to check for more.
I spoke with one of the managers last week. The VYNLMATION (SP?) swapping has started going very well there... so they are hopeful to do pin trading down the line. They have to get a permit to trade and there are a lot of details... but they are working on it, according to her. Which is very exciting for me.

My sister went there a few months ago and got me a cool looking times square pin as well as a statue of liberty vinyl.
